I think being able to set a base colour for sight would be a good idea. People with colour insensitivities or full red-green colourblindness can't see the red dot at all.
It's pretty limiting since almost every gun has a red sight.

I agree with the color blindness!! I didn't even think of that, but it is a great point. The more I look at the sights now I really think the dot is to small and should be increased. Maybe Bungie will rework the sights a bit.
