I would agree with this but I can beat certain nightfall strikes by myself so I doubt they will implement and should not implement this because of people like me.

I think that's fine though. There are many guides out there on how to solo nightfalls yourself (I was able to solo Nexus strike last week). You should be having fun and playing what you want, otherwise it's just work. You would still only get drops and the XP bonus once per week though.
