so a friend sent me a link to an alternate strategy for crota. i lost the link but got a screenshot of the strategy. id like to give credit to whoever posted it in the neogaf forums but i dont got a name so credit for this goes to someone on neogaf. its the same basic idea as my strategy just with a twist. you still go down to the middle starting section on the ground floor. you need a level 31 hunter with stealth. everyone goes to the bottom middle start point and kills the sword bearer. the hunter gets the sword and stands on the box in front of crota until everyone else takes his shield down. the hunter needs the bladedancer high jump to jump up to crota to hurt him. use R1 R1 R2 R2 if you get there right on time. don't get greedy.go back to the box in front of crota and duck to go invisible. now you wont need to worry about timing because he wont see you. by the time crotas getting back up 2 people from the bottom need to take out knights on the side areas from the pillars around the area. while everyone else blasts crota with ghorns and icebreakers to get his shield down again. hit him again(with super if you got it.) and everyone back to the bottom middle.repeat until either hes dead or you are.

Must admit thats interesting, it will help with timing. I was thinking about same thing today LOL. But still got one question, when he moves on sides, what then. Beacous if he stand in middle it would be easy, but problme is that he moves like crazy sometines

there are two rocks identical to each other, if you look at the left and right spots that are just low enough to crouch and he cant hit you, at least i haven't been, would suggest going invisible like he said. would post screen shot but don't have one. :/ the rock are literally up against the circular platforms on either side. chill there, jump up, hit him with the sword. I do have a question though, i have been trying beat crota with me clan and he enrages everytime, is this because we only get one set of damage in for each sword? From what im gathering in this thread you have to hit him twice for each one to kill him quick enough right? just looking for confirmation.

i still think the 2 hiding spots near the mountain behind crota will be useful just need more time to work out a strategy for it.

there aint much you can do about it. my best suggestion is to do your best to wait for him to get to the middle before killing the swordbearer. once you get that first set of hits he'll prolly stand there for a second then try and run. thats why you need to take his shield down alot faster the 2ed time. then fall back and wait for him to go to the middle again.
