Would you knowingly buy a game that could lock you out?

The reason why locking people out of the nightfall and weekly game play modes is important is because it wasn't a known/published possibility at the time of original purchase. The question is, would you have originally purchased the game knowing that they could and would disable game modes for weeks at a time at their choosing? When you buy a game that comes with game modes X, Y and Z, you may expect that a DLC expansion will add features A, B, & C. But in buying the original game, you would never expect X and Y to be disabled at a later point. This is why they changed the EULA tonight, and why I rejected it. I just want my refund and to be done with it.
