My gf is over 200 miles away, and I need a way to surprise her for Christmas. I've almost no money, so as much as I want to, I can't surprise her at her house.

Smistletoe pretty much got this right. I would just like to add that maybe if you two got video chat, you two could just talk to each other and and let her know how much you miss her and all that romantic stuff.

I was once in that situation and it requires a lot of creativity. One cheap thing you can do is bake her cookies or some sort of food and then send them to her. Or something as simple as setting up something to do together on Christmas night. Maybe play a game together. Perhaps even a board game
