Use something with High Caliber Rounds and hit them first. You'll survive and they won't be able to finish you off. Unless they are really good.

Ppl are acting like its always a two shot kill. Its only a two shot if they shot you in the end both times. That means the player was very skilled or very lucky. Stop crying. Yes its annoying to be killed by but so is TLW, Vex, Felwinter's and being two bursted by Red Death. Normally it takes 3-4 shots to kill someone (3 if they shoot you in the head 1 time.) You just have to out strafe them and not be caught off guard. However, if youre going up against of team of skilled thorn users who communicate, youre pretty much SOL.

The only thing that needs to get needed from the thorn is the stupid green screen you get when being hit by it. Lol A change in screen + burn is too much Lol I wish the aliens were disoriented by this gun too lol!

2 RepliesI have Thorn, it's an ugly beast and one of my favourite guns in the game. But it does take some skill to use, due to its poor accuracy and range - but it is [i]not[/i] invincible. I'm taking my Titan through IB at the moment, not my favourite class but I want the armour for her. And yes, I've been killed by Thorn [i]a lot[/i]. And also The Last Word, Vex Mythoclast, Suros Regime, Red Death, Bad Juju... Now I'm not saying that any of these weapons need nerfing, at all. These are all great guns that players have had to work for or been lucky to receive them. Iron Banner demands that you field the best weapons you can. What we should be doing therefore, is working hard to be better players. And just so you know, I have not used my Thorn once this Iron Banner. More as a challenge to myself than anything else. I've been rotating my Suros and Last Word. The community hasn't spoken - you have, along with a lot of other whiners who most likely don't have Thorn presumably because they can't or won't do the bounty. Demanding that a weapon be nerfed because it annoys you helps no one.

1 ReplyComing from a mediocre pvp player, thorn can be a huge pain in the ass to deal with. But enough with the 'nerf this, nerf that'. Red death, TLW and Vex are all good options for taking down thorn users. Besides if they nerf thorn then people will use something else.. then people will cry for more nerfs. Git gud.

Thorn is my favorite weapon, ever since the picture of it came out. Just the look of it was amazing, but I have to agree the update for Bad Juju and Thorn made thorn very op
