It's only a two shot with both being headshots, plus if you use red death or suros you'll more than likely survive if you kill them.

So your *solution* is to come here and bitch..... ...rather than figure out how NOT to get hit twice by the weapon? It's not that hard kid. Really, it isn't. Calling for nerfs, won't make you a better player. Figuring out how to adapt to the challenge Thorn represnets....will make you a better and SMARTER player. Against EVERY weapon in The Crucible.

I don't know how Thorn is OP when it is possible to out-gun Thorn users. Yes, 2 or 3 shots plus the burn seems a bit too much, but if you're smart then you'll know how to play against it. It's the player, not the gun.

2 RepliesThis post is untrue for many reasons. The thorn bounty itself is considered one of the hardest bounties in the games, and the 500 void kills in the crucible is not the easiest thing to do. And to quickly get two headshots in on a person WHILE THEY ARE MOVING AROUND requires a for amount of skill. It's funny how Felwinters Lie isn't in the " pls nerf" spotlight. The range on that shotgun is rather high in my opinion. From what I see, most of the "pls nerf thorn" posts are from people who are people who don't have the Thorn or are butthurt that they are being killed in the crucible by players who were dedicated to spending time to get this gun. Skill needed to get Thorn>Skill needed to get Felwinters Lie Imo Felwinters lie much more op than Thorn.

Oh come on! Like the ridiculously overused shotguns are any better. Especially felwinters lie and found verdict, people just camp in one place and as soon as They sense someone close range in the radar they just pop out and boom! Sure, thorn is a very VERY strong gun for pvp but certainly that doesn't call for it to get nerfed. Let's not get another disaster like the nerf of the ARs. Please God, No.
