1 ReplyYou have 3 warlocks. You play PvP less than I do. You are on PS, and have a Hawkmoon. Hawkmoon is a 2 hit kill often, occasionally a one hit. That's far more OP than thorn. You are a scrub. You should get good before posting retarded BS like this.

Thorn is fine as is no need to nerf it. There are other two trigger pull kill weapons out there Red Death springs to mind. Learn to use cover to deal with the burn damage ans stop complaining.

I see so many thread on forums on here about nerfing the thorn and negative comments from people who use it [b]I call them (thorny cry babies)[/b] i bet once i post this ill receive some. I was devastated to see the hawkmoon nerfed but my mastery made me not care. I'll admit the thousands of guardians are right you went to far. They boosted DOT from 3 to 7 TTK and one shot from that plus burn takes ur shield down automatically with a 100% chance the burn will happen un like hawkmoon where there are only 3 bullets in a clip with bonus DAM. every crucible match I go to thorn is right there and I get my butt kicked even if my mastery of the hawkmoon is at its [b]full[/b] potential. Thorn is suppose to be [b]OP[/b] its an exotic of course but now the game is imbalance and admit it u don't need skill what so ever to use it. I think it need a nerf although, it would be sad. The gun is so [b]OP that I ask the rival team to stop using thorn and we won that match.[/b] bungie don't totally nerf it just down tone it at least on crucible but its a good gun and [b]deserves[/b] the buff but not that much of one. They should just take it back to six rounds. Then only the people who wield it skillfully will be running around with it. This spray and pray stuff that's running rampant would be eliminated.

I do much better with red death or bad juju. When I am just messing around I will use thorn but when I want to get a lot of kills I pull out red death or bad juju. Even the last word works better for me.

Sniper - One Shot Kill Shotgun - One Shot Kill Fusion Rifle - One Shot Kill Rocket Launcher - One Shot Kill Everything Else - Three Pulls Of The Trigger (Auto + Machine Gun - One Pull) I suck at Crucible, but I'm not complaining. And yes I have Thorn, but I get killed way more times from shotguns and fusion rifles than Thorn. Enjoy the game and stop asking for nerfs.

Enough with this complaining it's pathetic. Yes the weapon is strong but why shouldn't it be strong it is an exotic after all. I've been playing crucible since the game came out and I've only been 2 shot by the thorn maybe 3 times. I've gotten way more 2 shot kills with the TDYK that has luck in the chamber. I really like the crucible but it's the complainers like you that are ruining it for the rest of us
