I understand that they're armor piercing, but that's just ridiculous. No way it could punch through a 7 foot thick boulder.

I remember seeing a good description for the armor piercing perk in these forums: You can shoot through a 10 inch thick steel wall, but you can't shoot through both sides of a brown paper bag.
