In my personal opinion, the Thorn and The Last Word are the strongest weapons for Crucible as it is now. I think the Suros was a bit strong pre-patch. After patch it seems solid, until you match up against a Thorn or Last Word user of similar skill. At which point you can notice that you are unable to win battles a lot more often. Those two guns are Very Strong and the Suros does not work best in situations where the Thorn and Last Word stand out. The problem is that not only do these guns work best short range, they both compete with the Suros mid and long range. Many of the maps now, in which I am so pleased with, have a multitude of choke points.( A.K.A. a point in which a player must go through to reach the objective) Thorn and Last Word utilize these choke points very well because many of the choke points on these "small" maps are short range playable choke points. Hand cannons work well close quarters so naturally hand cannons will have an advantage over the Suros at this range, then you take the two best hand cannons and you have a distinct battle advantage. Many Thorn and Last Word users will win the majority of their battles in this short range. So a Suros user would decide to avoid close quarters battle and only engage mid range battles. The issue is that the Thorn and Last word are still very comparable to the Suros even at mid range. And Long Range, I guess it's how you spec your weapon. The Suros has no natural advantage over the Thorn and Last Word, and many maps "cater" to the Thorn and Last Words' natural advantage over the Suros. For this reason I believe the Thorn and Last Word to be a bit to strong. Edit: I only use the Suros as a comparison because, I think rather than looking at all guns Individually it would be easier to compare them to the Suros. This way we have a "base" level to look at when finding if a gun is truly over powered. Edit 2: Looks like the majority of you guys say no change. I definitely thought I would have more people agree with me than disagree. If people are happy with the gun don't change it, that has always been my view point when it comes to keeping weapons fun and relevant in a game. Thanks for your guys input.
