Apparently Lizard Squad's goal is to wipe out Xbox live, PSN, and Stream using DDos (Distributed Denial of Service) because they think that bungie or other gaming companies are ripping us off or wants full authority or control. Either way, Microsoft is doing all they can to stop these repeated attacks. From what I've heard, they are threatening to launch a massive attack on Christmas day, shutting down nearly every one from signing on to xbox live. Hopefully these guys will be caught and their group destroyed.

In an interview, lizard squad stated that "they do it for the lols". They aren't trying to achieve anything other than pissing people off.

what are their demands though? I get hacker groups do this for fun and it's really a testament to their programming skills, but they must have some other agenda if they feel Bungie and Activision is ripping them off

Lizard squad is really annoying me now. I've not been able to play in 3days. At all. I mean I can go to the tower. That works fine. Moment I try to do something else I get kicked from the game. I understand they feel ripped off or whatever, but not by us gamers. I paid a good money for my xbox one, will I even be able to play the new dlc tomorrow? So they feel ripped off by microsoft/sony whatever, so they're ripping us off by denying us a service that we pay for? What is that going to accomplish? Aside from the overwhelming desire to ask Microsoft for full refund for this years gold subscription on grounds that we pay to be protected from instances just like this - a fundamental failure on microsofts end.
