Bungie Weekly Update 04/25/08
In spite of Luke's European Vacation, we managed to cobble together a brief batch of news to reduce the snooze.

id like to see if Bungie can make a series that tops the halo series cause in my eyes that seems very hard to do and if anyone can make a halo killer bungie can =]] im so excited.. little sad that microsoft "took over" the halo universe though dam bill gates... c u on live =]

Well, just like most of the other gamers in the Halo3 community I am very exited about full-time SWAT and it sounds like fun. I am bummed that GrifBall isn't permanent though. Well I think that: 1) Infection should have its own playlist, seeing as it is popular with many that I know. Also... 2) There should be a Recon and Security type armor available for elites because their armor choices are [u]way[/u] more limited then spartans. And also, because it would [b]amazingly[/b] sweet. If amazingly is a word. [i]And Most Importantly....[/i] 3) You should have a tournament, with teams/clans online, and the participating members of each team are awarded Recon (not to beg for it). Who actually thinks the Update picture is pretty dramatic. Its kinda like the execution of the elites by the brutes after the "change in plans" in the Covenant government

Bungie still has control over the Halo Universe/Storyline etc and I'm sure they wouldn't just let anyone make a Halo game

The statement could also be instead of Navi, Midna to be more up to date. Luke almost never comes up with some of this gold...hmmm...

a) Why would Peter Jackson screw up? b) If you don't like the product, don't buy it. Opportunity cost, perhaps, but shouldn't detract from your enjoyment of Halo at all.

Microsoft would be [i] very [/i] wise to keep Bungie actively involved and consulting on [i] any [/i] Halo titles in the future. I have my worries too about mishandling the series. Halo will always be Bungie's baby to me, being owned by MS or not. Anyway...I'm really excited about mention of the new projects. Anyone have any guesses on how soon is "the very near future"?
