Bungie Weekly Update 04/25/08
In spite of Luke's European Vacation, we managed to cobble together a brief batch of news to reduce the snooze.

Nice update :) I quote "Meanwhile, we're damn busy ourselves with a variety of projects underway within the studio including one that you'll be hearing more about in the very near future. Now that we control our own destiny we also have other longer term, top secret plans afoot. The wait for that may be a tad longer though. " Sounds like something good coming our way :) Also hearing news about Peter Jackson's involvement being all but official now shows promise for some cool stuff in the near future. Yeah even if Microsoft is going to be involved it "should" still be at least OK eh? In any case keep those updates coming and keep up the great work Bungie I shall sacrfice six bottles of beer to my stomache in your honour this weekend (or rahter already did). PS: I love the picture on this update. LOL that ELite really looks like it is gunning it away from that Chopper. LOL it makes me laugh when ever I look at it. That picture would make a great poster. The up data is going to be great Team swat and it is going to be ranked ASOMO. And later in any games is there going to be some sort of recon for the elite because that would be asomo to.

Is there going to be any chages to the melee on halo 3 And I Know you guys haved worked hell of hard on fixing it. All i am asking is if you can change how both people die at the same time. Thanks if you help or don't.

For those who still want Recon Armor here are the details. The Sarkathalon 2 is a Challenge on Avalanche. You must laser two hornets and snipe five fusion barrels without zooming in. But you must find eight hidden gernades before crossing the finish line. If your having trouble finding the gernades go to YouTube. All video entries must be sent to {Mr Sark} by May 2nd. The time to beat is 3:31.

I dunno if this is the right place to say this but I have a suggestion about S.W.A.T., and its just a minor one... maybe you could take out the grenades and make it like H2 SWAT? and for some reason Halo 3 SWAT feels easier than it was in Halo 2, or maybe ive just gotten better... anyway, Thanks for the update

so...in order to increase the likelihood of getting that "speacial" armor, when getting matched with a bugie employee we are supposed to just roll over and let them kill us? Well, that means im hosed, i didnt comply to that. I don't give a (alternate word for crap) if i get the "speacial" armor or not, it's only armor, and i'm perfectly fine wearing rogue. But anyways, I would rather earn the "speacial" armor for beating Bungie...or something like that.

I have an educated question about getting the recon armor. I'm not making this up.. I truely believe that I have stuff thats good enough to win the recon armor. The question is where do I post it? Now I know which forums to post pictures and videos in (halo 3 files forum), However, how can bungie get to my picture or video if everybody in the world posts after me which bumps my post to later pages. I'm just curious to how this all works. Thanks.

Hey Bungie Community, I have just recently joined the US Army as a Human Intelligence Collector, and I'm leaving in August. And I just read the Weekly Update, and I read the article about the Recon: How To Get It... and they said that enable to get the Recon Armor, you must serve the Community and other random acts of service. So isn't joining the Army not just serving the Community, but the Country? So Bungie Community, I have a question to you, do you think I deserve Recon? Please reply...
