First post I've ever done on a weekly update, but here goes. I think it's ridiculous that people are STILL whining about Recon. Yes, it looks cool. Yes, it means that someone from Bungie recognized your puny, insignificant existence. It does not, however, make you a better player or make you super special. In case you can't recall, Halo and Halo 2 didn't even ALLOW armor permutations, so be happy with what you have. If you're struggling to obtain some kind of symbolic gaming superiority, unlock a perm. that means something, like the Marathon one. And if you already have, great for you! Recon is NOT what the game is about, so go out and enjoy yourself. Frag a few friends. Create your own map. DO NOT, however, waste your time complaining about not looking fancy, because if you do, and I hear you, I will proceed to taunt you without mercy oh ye with little appreciation for greater things.

I don't understand how Team SWAT is more popular than Team Snipers. That is so lame. O well, I guess it's a smart idea to give the larger groups what they want in order to make more money, I just wish the larger group weren't noobs. (No offense to anyone in particular.)

So what does this all mean? In a nutshell, Microsoft is building a development team to work on future Halo game titles - the first one being collaboration with Peter Jackson with out bungie onboard im not sure im even going to bother with any further halo titles when they are released. I think i will just stick with bungies new games just my two cents worth

Bungie should make another permutation for an Elite. Comparing the Recon for the Spartan to a permutation of an Elite. Possibly they could instead of have a flaming head, have a icy head for Elites.

" Sounds like something good coming our way :) Also hearing news about Peter Jackson's involvement being all but official now shows promise for some cool stuff in the near future. Yeah even if Microsoft is going to be involved it "should" still be at least OK eh? In any case keep those updates coming and keep up the great work Bungie I shall sacrfice six bottles of beer to my stomache in your honour this weekend (or rahter already did). PS: I love the picture on this update. LOL that ELite really looks like it is gunning it away from that Chopper. LOL it makes me laugh when ever I look at it. That picture would make a great poster.
