Depends on your scheme. R3 is my melee.
Better solution (my cheap opinion) would be to start implementing long presses on the dpad (i.e. hold down "up" for two seconds and it switches subclasses.
Edited for clarity... ...and because predictive text sucks.

Great idea . You could use the d-pad . Instead of it doing an utterly pointless dance or point .

But still there would be an un used button. But it would be a useful thing to use but with obvious drawbacks like all cool downs restart. But can be effective when needed.

Yeah, considering that you can do it anyways, there's no reason not to put in a shortcut.
