So the new dlc will let u do all the work on weapons/armor you have done, over again. Hey I have an idea just take all our stuff and let us grind to find it all over again too. Set our characters back to zero while your at it. That's sounds like a blast. Just charge us 20 bucks to start the game over. Or Just let us F'ing UPGRADE from where we are!!! Good god bungie. And what about the raid weapons we spent months trying to get? why the hell can't we upgrade those. Bungie your biggest problem is you don't respect your players time and effort. Pressing reset on months of work is NOT fun. You had too many people liking the new patches so you had to go back to your old ways. You just ruined the dlc. Instead of looking forward to getting new weapons and upgrading current ones. We'll spend 90 percent of our time. Re-doing the last three months. Or more likely just let go of most of weapons and armor it took FOREVER to get. So now Ice breaker, Galji and one piece of armor. Is all most will upgrade over again. This is the worst of all your bad ideas....smdh.

Your current weapons would be lower spec'd and not really of any value. You would have to go searching for new weapons and hope you found them, then upgrade them. I am guessing bungies' thought process is you dont have to wait weeks to pick up new weapons, you have a supply already and just as you would have to upgrade a new higher level weapon, now you are just uograding what you already have and dont have to wait to find a weapon.

You retarded? you have to "wait" on Xur to have the upgraded one available to trade your "old" one in on you are essentially re-buying your own weapon if and when it becomes available. And the exotics were never supposed to be surpassed by the legendary's and this is Bungies way of fixing that mistake by making you re-buy re-earn re-upgrade

Lol, Then why aren't our characters losing all there abilities in order for us to go to 32? Sound stupid? Well resetting weapons is just as dumb. Just allow us to upgrade from where we are. Only reset the last 3 attack upgrades not the entire weapon. And make the weapon 300 at that point. Then just change the last 3 upgrade numbers. That way you still have to upgrade your weapon attack but you don't have to redo all your weapon abilities.

What you are saying is "hey bungie, I want the equivalent of a brand new higher level weapon that is 80% upgraded already thanks". it is no different from getting a brand new upgraded higher class weapon.

How is that a give away? Automatic upgrades for weapons would be a give away. Having to work to upgrade gear from where we are now. As a matter of absolute fact, would be giving us nothing. If you work your ass of to finish college. Is it a give away when you are allowed to go to grad school? Should you have to start college all over as a freshman and have all your hard work wiped out. So you can progress to grad school? And once you get your masters, should you have to start all over as a freshman again to go get a doctorate? That's the logic your using right now. Can you explain how keeping what you EARNED so far, but still having to earn further upgrades is giving us anything? I don't see how that is a give away.
