Everyone is crying about having to level their exotics again but why is that so bad? I for one am excited for something to work towards and they did say exotics after the reset buff will level up faster. I like the fact that you can only do one exotic per week as well. That will only help encourage leveling that exotic up faster as you can focus all of your xp on it. I've read so many posts where people are whining about being able to purchase materials instead of farming them. My jaw dropped....bungie handed you easy to get upgrade materials and you complain. Now they are making you work to upgrade what are suppose to be the best weapons in the game and you find that unfair? This is a grinding game period. I find it extremely rewarding. You can focus on the fact that you haven't had a good weapon drop in weeks and then you finally get what you want and your response is "it's about time!" Or you can understand how the game works and when that weapon drops you'll have a more rewarding experience. It's exciting getting what u want, it wouldn't be exciting if it was just handed to you and you had everything max leveled in one day...I enjoy the experience and the grind. I would think by now the other destiny players would understand this by now. *EDIT* It was brought to my attention that the "one exotic per week" was inaccurate. It has been stated that, "Xur will have a limited selection of exotics available for upgrade 6 Weapons, and 2 armor pieces per class" I'm a little bummed I won't be able to "hand pick" my exotics, however out of a selected 6 I'm sure I'll be happy with at least one.
