We hear a lot of crying an moaning. But the solution could be so simple. [b]1. It is great that Bungie offers that Exotics can be upgraded at all! 2. We all want to keep our powerful weapons at max and don't want to lose the tons of hours spent. 3. We still want that the weapons grow stronger.[/b] But why reset everything if you can just enhance them? Everything beyond max level 1.0 could even take twice the EXP that one need for the max of 1.0 but still the weapon should stay on that level. [b]In simple explanation: [/b] - Maxed or half maxed weapons can be traded - They come back at that level - Every leveling after that max (saying the new 2.0 level cap) should require double or triple of the EXPthan the usual leveling. Therefore all time spent in the past does not go to waste and one can still upgrade the weapons, but it takes more effort to make them stronger. Maybe comparable effort as you would need to update from scratch. That would be fair.
