It depends on who you are playing with. For a solid team, jumping down and blocking teleports is the fastest and most effective way to get past Templar. If playing in a pickup group, strategy I find that worked is one person goes down and takes care of all the supplicantsand 2 oracles (hidden right hidden left oracles), the rest of the team can take care of the remainder of the oracles and snipe/rocket templar at every opportunity.
