See, what had happened was...
I was playing with a buddy who just got the game not to long ago. So, I was showing him a few of the best spots for farming, doing bounties, etc. While at the tower turning in our bounties he stated that he finally ranked his Sunsinger up on his warlock.
The way he pronounced it is what threw me off. As I corrected him on it being Sun-Singer. He tells me, "No, bro. It's called Sun-Singe-R." I laughed and tried to correct him again. Here's where he blew my mind...
"Does the sun sing or singe?"
Have we seriously been pronouncing it wrong this whole time? I've been saying it like he said ever since. Haha.
What's you're take on this?
Edit 1. -- Keep in mind that this is a video game. While that being said, many of the names used aren't real words. Just incase most haven't realized. So, whose to say that singe-r isn't a word? Just my opinion on that part.
I'm hearing everyone on the whole sun singing (what I thought since day one) but, you are using the power of the sun to singe your opponents, singe-r. Honestly, either way seems legit to me.
Edit 2. -- This is a smart person.

[quote]After reviewing the case and discovering that this "singe-r" is a legitimate pronunciation of the letter combination in question... I approve of this message.
Singer (sin-jer) is actually a word and it is defined as a person or thing that singes.
Origins circa 1870-75
Singe is defined as "to burn superficially or slightly; scorch."

There is a song of flame perk for the warlock. Song....sing There is also a solar grenade. Solar.....singe What if it goes both ways depending on what subclass you pick.
