Snipers are ruining the game
Legendary snipers are becoming overpowered. I personally have stopped using them because it is too easy to get one shot kills. For instance when playing in first light, 9/10 times I die it's praedyths revenge or ice breaker. This is so annoying and boring to see the same thing over and over. Snipers are supposed to be wielded with skill NOT ease by noobs

Sniping unquestionably takes skill. I don't enjoy it so I don't do it, and honestly every time I've been killed by a sniper it's because I've done something stupid, like rounded a corner with a long line of sight and been pinged. My only issue with snipey maps like sky shock or first light is that I hate sniping but it forces me to do it. It's not ruining the game in the least. There are far more broken aspects of the PvP experience (like the mega lag at the moment) that I think need addressing long before the balancing of PvP weapons. Also if they -blam!- with the ice breaker for the sake of PvP it would piss me off, and that's from someone that basically only plays PvP and Raids occasionally because it's needed in PvE to cope with the raids. I think the reason people get pissed at sniper deaths is that by the time you could have avoided it you're already dead so it feels cheap. (Fusion rifles are the same way. By the time you realize you rounded a corner and stopped you're dead and it's easy to curse the gun rather than the mistake). That drives frustration, but in truth if played as if there are snipers everywhere you start to spot where they are, and nothing beats the feeling of going cover point to cover point and murking a sniper from close range.

1 ReplySniper rifles have always been a one shot one kill in most all FPS, As long as it's a head shot. Now if it was one shot kill to the body that would be a problem.

The Crucible in general is pretty bad...the only reason I'm still playing is because I honestly believe they'll fix it. It has potential.

2 RepliesPeople keep complaining about the crucible sucking. Maybe if you weren't cutting corners with a fuking AR or sniper u would get lit up with the fusion rifle or get killed by a shotty. Don't stand wide open in the map when u see a red light in the distance. Stop rushing with a fuking hand canon. Play the game right and you should do fine.

3 RepliesOMG are you for real?!? To get a one-shot requires a headshot 100% of the time! And to get that in the Crucible, or any sort of online in any game requires tremendous skill! Headshotting moving targets is pretty freaking hard! You just need to know how to use the snipers, because they in fact do take skills.

10 RepliesSniping is the worst thing about every fps. SRs shouldn't even be in any of these games. Anyone can get a ton of kills whilst sniping, it takes no skill and lessens the play experience for everyone not using an SR.

If you had a sniper in halo there was never a red dot. I don't ever recall seeing a red dot! Also the range on snipers aren't adjustable so it's easy to get to a sniper and eat them. Comments!

Ok so you are getting Mar because players are good at what they do -.- you sicken me. If you die by a sniper that means you got hit by a high caliber shot that should in terms kill you anyways but. The person lined the shot up right and shot you with said sniper. Plus ice breaker is exotic. It's supposed to better than average guns. I don't think it's that good in PvP in my personal opinion. But you are saying snipers are OP and that you die a lot by them. Just because it does more dammage than a scout rifle dosnt mean it's to OP. It's doing what it's supposed to do in the hands of someone who know how to use it. I hate it when people try to make excuses when they are just truly mad because they don't have the skill of other players. Btw preydeths revenge is a 2 shot anywhere but the head. And if any sniper hits you in the head you should die no matter what.

What do you speak of you need a headshot to do that, noobs can't hit the broadside of a barn let alone precision. And they are so easy to sneak up on and eat
