Snipers are ruining the game
Legendary snipers are becoming overpowered. I personally have stopped using them because it is too easy to get one shot kills. For instance when playing in first light, 9/10 times I die it's praedyths revenge or ice breaker. This is so annoying and boring to see the same thing over and over. Snipers are supposed to be wielded with skill NOT ease by noobs

Snipers do require skill! I'm not even good at it remotely but its bore balanced than fusions and shotguns

2 RepliesSorry, you should be praising me for being able to snipe on maps smaller than my house layout. Destiny maps are the smallest maps I've ever played on, and they expect me to snipe in shotgun central Shut up and praise me

The most satisfying kill in any fps multiplayer is a bullet to the head with a sniper round. Sniping in Destiny is a bit easier than other fps, but that's because there are so many noobs that have no clue what they are doing. I will take being killed by a sniper any day over being spammed by a buckshot bruiser. Id say special ammo drops should have longer respawn times. Far too much reliance on special weapons. Shotguns and Fusion rifles get very annoying in Rumble

You're breaking the game.... If you can't dodge snippets just so playing crucible. Sniping, unlike your fusion rifle, takes real skill.

Dude snipers are the only fair special weapon in crucible I don't know what your talking about but shotguns are pretty debatable

Right, well I will tell you a secret to play on the, what is it, 2-3 maps big enough for sniping(?)... Don't use Shotguns/Fusion Rifles/AR. Every small map sees those weapons, isn't it natural in large open maps to see snipers come into play for once? I saw your K/D and you aren't bad. But if you think snipers are overpowered because they are being used in the terrain they are made for then there must be something wrong with your thought process. Shotguns and Fusion Rifles are great in CQC, that's why you see them in nearly every map. Just like Snipers come out in larger maps... logic

Here's an idea try choosing a path with objects to hide behind. Running in the alley ways deserves a 1 shot death and I thank you for helping my kd.

13 RepliesSnipers are only one hit kills if you hit headshots, so I'm pretty sure it takes some skill, unless you are the noob just standing still. Ice breaker has so much recoil you basically need to hit a headshot, while pradethys can probably 2 hit fast, but you can make yourself hard to hit by jumping and sprinting. Then you'll at least know that it wasn't a noob that killed you. Also I have a step by step process to stop getting sniped. I agree with you, I can't count the amount of times I've been killed by a sniper sitting in the longest range area of a map watching one high traffic area. But honestly it evens the game. Shotguns one hit within a meter or two. Fusion rifles one hit anywhere between the range of the sniper and shotgun. Its the situation that determines the victory. Flank those snipers. Slide toward the fusion rifles. Get distance away from the shotguns. If you both bring the same weapon then it's the more skilled player who wins. You can't win every battle. But you can sure prepare for them.

So your saying a high calibre sniper rifle shouldn't one shot kill things? I can live with two even three body shots. But sorry bro, you get shot in the head. That's one shot one kill. These aren't toys, a high calibre rifle is supposed to one shot kill things.

Dude I take out snipers with a hand cannon, also go after them with another person so that there is more of a chance to get them. All it takes are tactics
