You have to be accurate with pulse rifles thats why I like them.
I have red death maxed and it's one of my favourite exotics and I have 15 of them.
Auto rifles are the worst weapons in this game for sure.

I assume you're referring mostly to the faster Rifles, like Hex Caster? slower ones like Suros Regime and Shadow Price are great.
