Ok. Try this for size. My Timur's Lash. Field Scout. Outlaw. Reactive Reload. I get a quick reload after precision kills. I get 33% damage increase after I reload following a kill. Edit: Precision hits on Goblins >2200 damage. Precision hits on Goblins >2800 damage (reactive reload up) One hit on Atheon sentinels (reactive reload up). Two hit on Ultra Hobhoblins. One hit on Fanatics. >3200 damage a hit on Atheon using Weapons of Light For a 13 round gun, it's hard to beat.

    Well just to be clear, I finally went into normal VoG with this fully upgraded. One shotting Atheon sentinals with damage boost (kill 1, reload, then my next several shots are one shots and I just chain the one shots with fast reloads). One shotting fanatics. Two shotting ultra hobgoblins. All with fast reloads. My Timur's Lash dominated everyone else with kill count. 2200 damage on precision shots with reactive reload up. Hitting Atheon with 3200 damage a bullet with Weapons of Light up.

  • Any damage boost outdamages Hawkmoon, it does 8125 to septkis with field scout and 10806 with the damage boost.

  • My Timur's lash has luck in the chamber, which doesn't require kills for a damage boost. One in 7 shots does 2400 damage, and the other 6 shots still do 1800 damage on crits. That's 13,200 in 7 shots. My other bonus is more bullets for kills, so I lose less time to reloads (more damage per clip). Legendary > exotic?

  • The fire rate of Timur's Lash is MUCH slower than Hawkmoon. Out dps'd on trigger speed alone. The specs are great for a legendary hand cannon. I'll still keep my Fatebringer and firefly. Faster attack, faster reload, exploding heads, what's not to love?

    If we're talking a boss, unless you're only shooting adds, the chance of rounds returning to your gun after a kill doesn't help your cause. You lose unless you're using field scout and/or speed reloads. But now that you've brought that up, let's talk adds. Every time I speed reload while demolishing adds, for three seconds I gain 33% damage. 'Well you one shot anything anyways'. No that isn't true. After that reload, I two shot non ultra captains, three shot minotaurs, I can kill an ultra minotaur within one magazine. That's because I get more than one bullet per mag of bonus damage. Try again.

    He's comparing the weapons to a level 24 strike boss and if you 24+ up there's a limit to the damage you can do even if your 30 for example your going to do the full potential damage with those exotics and legendaries on a level 30 if your level 30 but if your going against a level 26 goon your going to be doing the max damage at that level that is possible so instead or doing 1,800 or something to a higher level boss your going to be doing 1,400 or whatever damage to a lower level boss and also do your maybe properly 7, bullets or whatever in your IB hand cannon Is going to output less damage than a hand cannon with 13 bullets and considering that hawkmoon has 3 random bullets that do considerable more damage than your lash that only has one which one do you think is going to do more damage overall. Hawkmoon is arguable the best hand cannon

    The hawkmoon does ~2000 to normal ads and the special bullets can get around 3k and even more when the bullets stack. He was talking damage to septiks prime. That's a boss. Very different scenario. TL doesn't do 2k to any majors or ultras. Definitely a better hand cannon for sure. Hawkmoon is god.

  • 3/13 is better than 1/7, but Timur's lash does more damage on every normal shot than Hawkmoon. Use whichever you like!

  • The problem is that would be an inaccurate test, as it's those certain perks and to be lucky enough to get that same set. A RNG set weapon vs static weapons.

  • THIS GUY GETS IT^^^ Finally someone that understands why the Hawkmoon is the better one. Everyone is comparing their different perks and such. Ok then let's have a Hawkmoon with 3 lucky shots glass half full. And each kill grants more damage. Since we are talking about tons of timurs lash combinations.

  • They do when you pop an add, quick reload, then pop the boss. You can get 5 shots at 33% bonus damage that way. If you save the last bullet for a precision kill on an add, it shaves off 150% on reload speed (almost 2 seconds) and you get the bonus damage. It takes skill. But if you have it, you can tear through Strikes. Used it to solo lvl 28 Weekly Strike with only one death.
