What is there to do after hitting lvl 30? I'm so bored guys. I'm so sad with you bungie. I was your favorite twice back with halo 3 and now I've lost all respect for the company. I just wanna say thanks for creating halo but this has been too much guys. Maybe one day you'll redeem what activision did to your name but until then I can't continue to lurk on these forums even a month after stopping playing at the hope of something promised happening. It's a sad day bungie but you'll keep acting like it's not, and like you're actually proud of what you delivered to your die hard fans. Well we're dead now.

Why do you even play games if they just cause you pain??? I'm stoked I have a game that I actually HAVE been able to play this much. God forbid I spend money on a game that makes me play it so often!!!!

You have 2 other characters. Get them to level 30. DLC comes out in less than 2 weeks. Bungie is going to continue to support this game for years with more dlc and content. You have put 9 days worth of time into this game, you can't honestly be THAT disappointed.

That's the worse part man how much time I've put into it lol. I hate my self for holding on to their promises for so long and like yeah I have the season pass already with guardian edition but it's just gonna be the same ol shit man after two weeks anyone decent will all be rolling around with the same shit

The way this game is designed, they will continue to raise weapon and gear levels with each dlc. Introducing new weapons and gear also. The problem is people put so many hours into it since launch that they ruined it for themselves. I am not saying that there should not have been more content to start with. But after 9 days worth of ti.e put I to any game, it is bound to get repetitive. Why not try playing something else for a while and come back to Destiny after the dlc releases? This was never going to be the last or only game anyone ever plays anyways. Some just enjoy it more than others for different reasons.

Yeah that's the common argument I seem to be getting. It's okay I just don't like the game or agree with their business methods/ethics. If I stopped playing at 4 days would the game suddenly be a better game? Lol come on bro.

Reigning theory I've heard is Activision wanted to change certain things, Bungie and Joe Staten ( lead writer for Destiny) didn't want to. Activision pressed the issue, Joe Staten left the company and took his notes with, ActiBungie was forced to finish writing the story and are legally bound to not discuss it. I have no proof of this. It is speculation, but it would explain everything. Also, I don't doubt what you are saying about the traveler/speaker, but if you have the link to that article or wherever that info came from, I would love to read it. All I have read is an interview from an alleged anonymous Bungie employee on reddit and I am looking for more info.

It just makes so much more sense that that's what happened it just sucks how they go on acting like this is a game their actually proud of when it was butchered to the point of the head creative director walking away from the highest paying position in gaming.

Yeah that anonymous employee reddit post is fake but has truth to it. The truth came out in reddit but was deleted but people took screenshots of it. The guy posting was someone in a focus group a year prior to the game launching and talked about playing a totally different game and goes on explains all that. If you look on my character his cloaks description talks of a cult that rejected the travelers light.

The problem is there is no variety in destiny what so ever. The game gets repetitive half way into its "single player campaign." Shoot guys, walk/run somewhere, shoot guys, send in ghost, kill waves, game over. You win destiny darkness is dead. Lol

I meant variety as in playing a variety of games instead of just Destiny. But every FPS is the same exact thing. Go here, shoot them, cover this person while enemies try to kill them... Sports games are the pure definition of repetition. Those are repetition right away after pressing 'start'. Games like Assassins Creed might be different in origin but, when constantly played, become repetitive too. When Last of Us came out I played that game nonstop. Great story, but always the same thing. New city, go to this building, shoot infected things, go to next part, shoot waves of hunters trying to kill you... New city, rinse and repeat. .. Switching back and forth between games would hold someone's interest longer in those games since they haven't just sunk 36 hours straight into it.

Oh yeah bro if they did 1/4 of what you suggested. Dont get me wrong I enjoyed the shooting part of the game lol but everything else is really lacking, other than their elaborate stories of amazing future content that's just more shit lol

Join a clan help those less fortunate than you make friends max out grimore upgrade weapons write reviews develope a sparrow race etc. . The game is what you make of it dont just let a lvl cap be all you strive for because nothing will make you happy

Yeah you're right it's not about the lvl cap, it's just this game is like for 13yr olds like idk man it's just a hollow game from day one. I played my ass off telling my self bungie has something up there sleeve to make this worthwhile but they really don't have shit. I guarantee the people who actually worked on in this game and were not in charge of the business side of it are truly devastated at what was made of their years of work. It's empty just to market to a younger/ larger audience and it breaks my heart that bungie took that route.

Yeah you're right about that but I don't blame bungie for the rating. Activision made them take a bunch of stuff out to get that T for teen rating. But like the guy before said, it's what you make it. I just hit 30 but I still haven't beaten the hard raid, just got to Atheon. Still have hunter and warlock characters to get to level 30. And like 21 guns to max out. Yes the game gets repetitive but it truly is a co-op heavy game. I ran the raid twice, once on normal and another on hard in the same day because I was with some cool people. It's what you make it. It also helps to play some other games. I didn't play for like 2 days thanks to diablo 3 and advanced warfare. When I came back it was still fun. Wait till the dlc. Might as well get your money's worth.

Tru. Haha you're right I just need to look at it like old zombies. It's just some shooter to play with my friends and that's it. It's still sad though at what should of been. Those poor developers. I wonder if any of them have like a true copy of what destiny was originally just for themselves since they worked on it for so long ya know
