I honestly think it takes guts to be able to take your own life. I don't think it's right though unless it is due to certain circumstances.

Edited by afanoflafear: 11/28/2014 8:35:01 AMJosef Fritzl's daughter was imprisoned and räped for 24 years. 24 years. Her father secured her in such a way in consideration to her environment that any attempt of suicide was imminent. Imagine not seeing the light of day for ⅓ of your lifetime but f.uck her for wanting to commit suicide right? Them privileged, upper class people like her don't appreciate how good their life is. Am I right mr. Rhino?

Yep, you are taking the easy way out. Cowards = Suiciders You won't change my mind and I won't reply to you.
-
You're running away from problems and life. Anyone care to tell me how that's not cowardly?
-
You need to have a extremely broken mind to do so
-
I think suicide is more of a selfish thing.
-
You know...I've had suicidal thoughts since fourth grade, I'm now a Junior in high school. I've never told anyone about, until now of course. When I was younger and had these thoughts, I would think that suicide would make people feel bad for me and they'd be all sorry. But anytime now I have those thoughts is because I'm depressed most of the time, and I just think it because I've lost all hope and will to do or care about anything. I'm just so sad to and down to the point where I don't care about my life anymore. People commit suicide because their mind isn't in the right place. It's because they feel as though they have no close friends, family or loved ones to turn to when that persons needs them the most. I've walked that line of suicide by myself without telling a soul, but I haven't taken that course, because I've learned something better will always come along. Anyways, carry on people.
-
Of course.
-
I think its cowardly but who the -blam!- cares what i think or what you think. The mother -blam!-er is dead and thats all there is to it. If the only reason you dont kill yourself is so you want be labled a coward then you obviously dont understand the concept behind killing yourself.
-
It makes you dead. That's about it.
-
It's a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Sometimes temporary does feel like a lifetime and bein depressed hurts, I think as a human you have fortunately enough strength and cunning to pull yourself out of whatever funk you fell in. Some people just can't, and that's not selfish, Depression makes the most irrational thing seem rational.
-
Yes and No
-
Really depends on the person some are some aren't.
-
To be able to take your own life is a very hard task. It takes a non-cowardly person to do it. Seppuku is honorable in Japanese culture.
-
Get a load of this -blam!-ing bait.
-
Neither It takes a broken mind to do it
-
Hell no... depression changes how you think about life... people who say that it's cowardly probably never went through depression...
-
It definitely takes guts to kill yourself, but when you're just about to seal the deal, it is even more brave to choose not to.

Oh, but when I talk about suicide, I get in trouble.
-
yes, unless you have cancer/other terminal incurable disease.
-
It's easy to simply to give up. It's hard to decide to keep going. Therefore suicide is weak and makes you an extreme coward
-
Slightly proud of the Flood.
-
Like the OP said, you have to be serious to do something like that and brave. I don't consider it cowardly at all.
-
Yes, and there's nothing wrong with that.
