Except destiny wasn't broken when it came out. Yes it lacks content but the overall finish was very well polished.
Except destiny wasn't broken when it came out. Yes it lacks content but the overall finish was very well polished.
See this guy doesn't complain, he understand that destiny grows with its age, I can die happy knowing there is some positivity on these forums left.

Thank you

Actually Bungie admitted both the strikes and the engram system were broken at launch. Strikes were much harder than they were supposed to be and engrams...yeah.
-
Then after some time the last patch put the strikes how they were originally and they're fine.
-
And Ubisoft is working on fixing the glitches in their game right now. The only difference is Ubisoft knows how to make a good apology.
-
Nope. Engram's and drops are still bs
-
Yes, but at least you won't have a legendary engram blue ball you now.
-
True lol
-
Playable at launch? Yes. Playable after their updates? No. They should give out a free crucible map or a free story mission every couple months or so. It'll bring people back as the game gets older and help set up the next game/dlc
-
Fuçk-ing...idiot. Pull your head out of your ass will you. If you don't keep up with the news on destiny why the fuçk do you go around talking like you know what you're talking about. It was very broken at launch. Some had more issues than others. All can be traced back to shitty ass programming by bungie employees.

Edited by Vikz88: 11/27/2014 10:25:29 PMSomeone has major anger management issues. Maybe you should see a therapist. Calm down it's a game, it isn't life and death. My point is still valid no matter how you address it. Destiny was a playable game at launch for the vast majority of players. I played straight away at 11am launch day and I encounters no problems.

Edited by Sem The Hickman: 11/27/2014 9:05:57 PMDestiny not broken???? Mate, Destiny was a HUGE pile of broken promises and still is.
-
Yes but my point is; was it a playable game at launch? For the vast majority yes. I also applaud you for the mature response. Honestly so many people have major anger issues in this game and flip out for no reason. At the end of the day it's just a game. One that I am still thoroughly enjoying.
-
A lot of people have issues with this game. It is pretty broken. When a lot of people agree on a reasonable subject, there has to be some truth to it, yes?
-
Agreed and hence why I said in last post vast majority had no problem. I acknowledge some people may have had problems, however a lot of these were due to questionable internet services. The only thing I am not so happy with bungie about is their inability to fix the raid glitches. But that's for another day.
-
Not calling you out, but the questionable internet excuse was propaganda peddled by Bungie to deflect blame away from the dodgy coding at launch... you only need to look at the increased spike in error codes after recent patches. I played the Beta without any error codes, but have suffered daily error codes since launch day - the recent updates killed the game totally for me. I have other games that keep me occupied and have no connection issues with them. It would be better if Bungie would simply acknowledge that there are known connection issues, and more importantly, that they fix them before the influx of Xmas players.
-
I guess a lot of people have had very different experiences to me. To date, since launch I can count on one hand the amount of times I have been disconnected. I've played other games which are far worse. However I acknowledge that others have not had as good experience as myself. Just hope all the bugs can be sorted before DLC drops.
-
my biggest issue is the zoo of errors and the fact that DLC cost £20 each or £35 for a season pass in uk! thats $54.76
-
Yeah bungie screwed up with the currency exchange. I'm glad I got the limited edition version with expansion pass and it only cost £75 but we get ripped off in the UK all the time.
-
Trailers do not bind them to any obligations, I fully agree. But ethical and moral obligations are something else, it's a responsibility towards your customers/clients/fans. If you're promising one thing to the players for almost two years, encourage them to pre order the game and all that crap. Then when the game is released it's clear that almost everything in the game has changed, how would you call that???
-
Trailers don't constitute binding contractual obligations. Nothing was promised
-
The game is far from broken. It might be lacking in promised content, but the game we have now works.
-
Yeah? You do know you STILL can't get a loading screen after clearing VoG right?
-
What if that, is because it isn't really the end of the Raid? Read, the cards ;)
