I think that if was an exploit, they would have rewrote the code so you don't get the chest unless the Templar does teleport, eliminating any cheese spot. It is a tactic, found by people who died countless times figuring it out and perfected the strategy. You could also email the army for not sending in troops on the front line with rifles and machine guns instead of using safe long range projectiles like missiles or using stealth technology because "that's how it was done in the past, and it worked". Finding a safe strategy in a game should just be common sense.

Bet he hasn't beat the Templar without him teleporting, without that glitch though... Lol

It seems to indicate at least to me because of what you say that players should not have access to these locations. The only reason I can think of as to why you think that these locations should be off limits is because you believe that players who seek refuge in these locations are exploiting the environment. What I can't understand is how this could possibly be thought of as cheating. Each player class has a unique movement ability granting them access to these locations and these locations are clearly within the bounds of the arena. How is seeking refuge from hordes of enemies as they charge straight at you in a location that your allowed to reach through the use of a movement ability programed into the game by the designers be cheating? I am now finished with this conversation because in your last post you again evaded answering my questions. 1. Why is taking refuge in the spirit bloom room an exploit? 2. Why is climbing to the top of a pillar that your character specific abilities allow you to reach in the first place an exploit? Why should players not have access to these locations since they are clearly in bounds? You mention these things in your original post and then evade answering questions about them in subsequent posts when many commenter have raised and been drawn into similar arguments. Your only response is to claim that the person's argument is flawed while providing no basis for such a claim. I dont really agree with this post. Its not really a glitch its more a exploit that players have discovered. I have completed the full raid without using any of the exploits . What im trying to say is u dont have to use these exploits bungie should put all there time and effort in fixing all those glitchs in hard mode .

FYI U Know Pushing Off Templar Is Part Of The strategy there no way u would survive staying in middle of open getting hit by hundreds of lvl 30 enemy so that's y bungie will not patch that so ppl can get that chest so get over yourself n stop crying bout it if u don't like it make the party yourself n font join other ppl game

If they should fix anything it should be the -blam!-ing detainment bubble killing players in the air. Teleporting player with the detainment bubble. Oracles spawning three at a time along with minotaurs at the bottom of stair wells gaining life. -blam!- the Templar. Sort out the rest of the raid so we can play properly. I couldn't care for the people who glitch. Fix it for the people who play properly.

Shut up Meg!! Leave the game alone, and IF they are going to fix something they should fix the Atheon bugs, like bad teleports, Infinite health Minotaur, detainment bubble inside teleport, portal malfunction, etc etc.
