This post is about the upcoming buff to exotics. Basically what i'd like to know, most exotics going to get renewed or only those that were in the picture on the weekly update ? I fear that with the update only the bad exotics will get updated, such as thorn and super bad advice. Unfortunately i feel nearly all exotics need a buff, not only those that are considered plain bad. Some exotics are rarely mentionee because they are not awfull, but truthfully no one would use them in a demanding situation such as the vault of glass. For example, monte carlo; the weapon looks absolutely stunning, but its just a "meh-weapon". It's not particularly fun to use and it's not particularly good to use either, i'd much rather use a vog legendary such as voc or fatebringer, hell, i'd pick shado price over it any day. Actually the same goes for the last word. It's amazing in pvp i'll admit that, but for pve it's kinda lackluster. Patience and time is the same. I mean it's a solid weapon, but why would i use my single exotic slot on it ? Ice breaker is better, and epitaph is pretty much on par. Why would i use truth ? Its a good rocket launcher but why would i give up my rxotic slot for it ? Theres really no incentive to use it. In my opinion, there are only 3 weapons that do not need to be buffed, being suros regime, ice breaker and gjallahorn. When I think of exotics i'd like to feel as if the problem is which one to choose because they are all just as amazing. At the moment though, i'm just choosing based on what weapon is the least bad. To get back to monte carlo, theres so much awesome things that could be done with it, for example instead of knifing you stab them with the weapon and you get like double knifing damage, that would at least makenit fun to use Anyway, enough rambling, what are your thoughts on the matter ?
