It's hard to pick between unfinished games at release and dlc. Because dlc, at least what it used to be was "man we made a fun game, people want more of it!" "Let's make some more content and sell it to them!" Now it's, "let's make half a game, and sell them rest through dlc, and let's knock five bucks off for people to buy it before playing so they'll be stuck with our shit game!" I honestly feel that is worse than a game that takes a couple weeks of patches to get the bugs worked out.

Lego games are kinda still sort-of like that. As in, DLC has nothing to do with the real game and is actually an add-on.

  • Most DLC like you said is cut from the original games anyway, a certain game decided you only got half or a quarter of the game and have to pay for the DLC for the full content, a piss take I think we all agree. If DLC adds something extra like more maps or an extended story it wouldn't be so bad, however treating us like cash cows is wrong. Gaming industry is a joke at the moment. To be fair I think all of them are wrong.
