you more than likely have a job. Or a girlfriend. Or real life friends. Or all of the above.
Guys it has come to my attention that some people are becoming, er how do you say it? Oh right. Butthurt. This was a post making fun of the number of "If you're not 30 yet" posts that were serious. If you have 3 level 30s with 13 kids and 4 wives. I applaud you. You win life.
Trending topic. Keep justifying guys we are listening!!!! And for those of you who understand the point of this, you're the real MVP.

So to get to 30 you have to raid and/or have the time to grind during a limited pvp event. If I knew this was another "raid or die" game I would of never of bought Destiny. That said, there's no need for me to be 30. All I do is log in to do bounties, daily mission, and 1 or 2 strikes. I'm staying lvl 28 and saving my mats for next DLC (if I buy it). I wonder if Destiny will go down the gear treadmill path and everyone's gear becomes trash in the next DLC. Raid or die gear treadmill...bleh not for me If the DLC requires lvl 30 to play then I'm passing on it.

My goal is to Platinum Destiny as far as multiple accounts goes. So far i maxed a Titan and when I did i dismantled him and his goodies, got the trophy and moved onto the hunter. After i max a subclass and receive a trophy for each (Titan , hunter) I'll make two other warlocks and just simply switch my gear to get the night fall x3 and raid x3. I love warlock and don't like dealing with three separate characters, no time and not as fun for me.

Had this game since it came out. FINALLY got to level 30 a couple days ago. Girlfriend. Full time job. Needy family and friends. Damn was it a grind but totally worth it
-
2 30s and a 24, but then again I'm in high school
i get all as and bs if anybody's asking
-
2 30s, a 29, a newborn (full-time dad), and a wife. Do I win? Lol I'll be starting school in the spring also. That's when my game time will seriously be cut.
-
I'm not 30, I have a job and a girlfriend, I can be level 29 when I'm done farming mats, but I don't raid every week like clockwork because I will only raid with friends and they are usually never on at the same time. That, and I'm not always playing destiny.
-
I am a 30 and I have all those things
-
I finally got all of the armor I need for 30. I've been stuck at 29 since a week after launch.
-
The funny thing is there are tons of people who got 30 after 1 raid... so its time AND luck.. i just now got all my pieces
-
i have a Wife and 4 kids. two lvl 30's and one 29
-
I have all of the above, and I still hit level 30. It really wasn't that difficult, and being level 30 doesn't really make anybody special. You just have a higher number next to your name, and marginally better damage resistance/output. Whooo. :/

Being a full time student and working to pay off tuition I've found it harder and harder to play. But I'll tell you what, this game has taken over what ever social life I have lmao

Edited by NullFoX13: 11/26/2014 6:59:42 PMRight on. I got to 29 working 2 jobs, wife and currently finishing my degree. Oh, and without raids.

Work, graduating college, and have a girlfriend. I have 2 30's. Quit downing people for doing what they enjoy. If you want something time constraints won't matter.
-
Finally someone understands! I always get bagged on for not being 30 yet, but it's because I actually go outside and socialize where I'm not speaking into a mic. I'm constantly hanging out with the same two girls (not sure which I should go with I like them both and their both amazing girls >.<) I spend time with my parents when I'm not busy with friends or girls and as well as I play competitive soccer.

Kind of passive aggressive to talk down to someone who is doing "better" than you at an activity by saying they spend too much time pursuing the activity that you too are pursuing, just not as well.
-
I have a 30 a 26 and a 27 and I have a girlfriend and I'm joining the military I also don't spend all my free time grinding Destiny I play other games as well.
-
I'm married, no kids yet though, and I work 12-hour shifts that could be days/nights/weekends/holidays which means no consistent play times week to week. On my days off I have lots of time to play especially if it's during weekdays when the wife works but there's other things that have to get done around the house too. I'm a Level 27 Hunter, just one character (how do you guys have the time to level three characters?), and although I want to progress to the top I'm trying to pace myself because I've gone hardcore into games before and burned out by the time I finished/hit level cap. I'm really enjoying Destiny and I want to make it last.
-
I only play destiny on weekends and breaks, and i have a 30 hunter and a warlock that's about to be 30 once I upgrade the boots
-
I'd say they more than likely have NO SKILL or WORK ETHIC....probably wanting to be carried through everything....
-
I just got to level 30 a few days ago. I'm a full time student and am a senior in college plus I work 20-29 hours a week AND i am the vice president of my fraternity.... The game has been out long enough that people can be lvl 30, if they aren't I blame luck.
-
It's just that Ascendant Shards are too hard for me to get. :(
-
You're retarded!!!! You can have 3 30's and 27 kids and 5 wives because its all Random!

Edited by HealTankDPS: 11/26/2014 5:09:36 PM3 Nightfalls 3 Weekly 3 Normal Raids if.. Still going for legs/chest/arms Or 3 Hard Raids if.. Still going for weapons/helm Then any extra strikes/bounties/ crucible to level up gear (Edit : If you have a child that you need to take care of then just do oracles and Templar on Hard for chance of four drops, hopefully you have a good friend or you can go onto forums and people will always help you out because Destiny community is nice) Doesn't take all week to do that literally I try to do nightfall and weekly on Tuesday then do raids Wednesday/Thursday/Friday and do something else during the weekend (Wednesday-Friday assuming 1-3hours depending on how well your group is) Don't lie about not having enough time, tell the truth! You are not blessed from RNGesus no one will hate you for that!

I think what people think you are saying is "If you have already reached level 30, you have no life" I understand thats not what you mean, but if you didnt want negative replys, you should've chosen your words more carefully :P
