you more than likely have a job. Or a girlfriend. Or real life friends. Or all of the above.
Guys it has come to my attention that some people are becoming, er how do you say it? Oh right. Butthurt. This was a post making fun of the number of "If you're not 30 yet" posts that were serious. If you have 3 level 30s with 13 kids and 4 wives. I applaud you. You win life.
Trending topic. Keep justifying guys we are listening!!!! And for those of you who understand the point of this, you're the real MVP.

I have communication problems so i'm useless for the raids annd for the raidgear
-
I have 2 level 30s, a girlfriend, 2 jobs, and make a point to go out once a week with friends.
-
I haven't hit level 30 yet because I don't have any friends who have this game on PS3 to do the raid with and because I just don't have the time. My schedule is pretty much: wake up, go to school, go to work, go home and go to bed - rinse and repeat. Don't have much time to do anything else =/ Days off, I just mostly play with friends on my PC. Would love to do the raid, just can't find time/people.
-
It's pretty easy to get there....
-
i have 3 30's. My wife is a pharmacist works 7-7 makes 140k year, she is obviously the bread winner. I am a licensed massage therapist and work on call. Get paid around 60-120 hour when I work. Perfect job that allows me to play as much as I want.... I got pretty lucky from a gamers point of view haha.
-
I have 3 30s but still go to Cornell University, have a girlfriend, party frequently, and play a club sport. This game is very easy to get 30 if u listen to the best person in ur raid group. Now I can do hard raid in 1 hr 30 minutes

Edited by Lordsa Jar-Jar: 11/26/2014 9:23:36 PMMost people should have at least one 30 by now, even if you're the casual gamer with only a few hours a week to play, it is still enough to get one 30.
-
I'm level 30 and yea I don't have a job or a wife or kids.
but I am only 14
-
Edited by ragincajunnugz: 11/26/2014 8:13:48 PMSweet, then I'm a winner. Married with two kids, and I work 40 hours a week. What do I win?
Nerfed, I bet.
Also, this game's been out forever, and hardly needs more than a few hours of play a week to have at least 1 level 30. So if you're not 30, you're either bad, or have really bad luck.

I have a life, job, 3 kids, and a wife. Thus I have 3 triplet 28's. One day, I may get tired of the life, the kids, the job and the wife..... then I can finish my exotic collection and have triplet max levels. (probably not though) :) cheers

The definition of Joining a Raid team at level 29. I once read about five monkeys that were placed in a room with a banana at the top of a set of stairs. As one monkey attempted to climb the stairs, all of the monkeys were sprayed with jets of cold water. A second monkey made an attempt and again the monkeys were sprayed. No more monkeys attempted to climb the stairs. One of the monkeys was then removed from the room and replaced with a new monkey. New monkey saw the banana and started to climb the stairs but to its surprise, it was attacked by the other monkeys. Another of the original monkeys was replaced and the newcomer was also attacked when he attempted to climb the stairs. The previous newcomer took part in the punishment with enthusiasm. Replacing a third original monkey with a new one, it headed for the stairs and was attacked as well. Half of the monkeys that attacked him had no idea why. After replacing the fourth and fifth original monkeys, none had ever been sprayed with cold water but all stayed the -blam!- away from the stairs. Playing Destiny longer than me or being one level higher doesn't automatically make your adherence to a rule, or the rule itself, right. It makes you the fifth replacement monkey. The one with the weird red arse and the first to point and screech when anyone approaches the Raid team. I would be the sixth monkey, at the tower trying to come up with a viable excuse not to spend another fruitless two hours locked in the Vault of Glass with five neurotic monkeys.

Does choosing to no longer play count?
-
It does kinda suck that you have to have raid armor to be level 30, meaning that everyone has the same gear, save one piece. They should implement a transmography thing such as Diavlo 3 has. It would be nice. But hey, i understand. I work alot and spend my free hours playing, which lately are very few.
-
No joke I just got a Gjallarhorn off a control match with a .67KD!
-
I have 2 raid only 30's and have a job and a girl friend i drive her to her job everyday
-
Bless you for understanding. Luckily, tomorrow is Thanksgiving, so most of us might have time to play.
-
I played since day one and even done the raid 8 times and still can't get to level 30. Not on a lot anymore because there isn't much to do.
-
"You win life" haha ... i laughed for a minute
-
For 40yrs I've never been MVP, today you ticked off that one on my list, for that I thank you!

I have 3 level 30's, abound 11 days played... a bit too much considering I have a full time job. I have been cutting back but at least and going out with my friends again lol. Atleast im honest about going a bit to hard on the game.
-
I would have gotten to 30 if I could finish iron banner events without getting lagged out, I would have gotten rank 4 and gotten the gloves!! I was 1 win away from getting to level 4!

Edited by Crimson: 11/26/2014 6:18:39 PMDear Married/Tied down People Of the Multiverse! I have a statement for thee, from the Minister of Reason and Marriage! It reads thusly: "As you give in to your significant other, so should they give into you. Marriage is of equal proportions, and Reason dictates that is should be such. If you like gaming, arrange a game day where your woman is willing get out of your hair along with your spawns from hell. And as such, you should arrange a woman's day, so that she may do as she likes, with you taking care of the hell spawn. 'Compromise' is the word of Reason and Marriage that I give to you this Holiday. May you find balance, love, and time to grind the VoG." Thus concludes the Minister's statement.

im a dad 2 kids wife work and 3 lvl 30s :)
-
So to get to 30 you have to raid and/or have the time to grind during a limited pvp event. If I knew this was another "raid or die" game I would of never of bought Destiny. That said, there's no need for me to be 30. All I do is log in to do bounties, daily mission, and 1 or 2 strikes. I'm staying lvl 28 and saving my mats for next DLC (if I buy it). I wonder if Destiny will go down the gear treadmill path and everyone's gear becomes trash in the next DLC. Raid or die gear treadmill...bleh not for me If the DLC requires lvl 30 to play then I'm passing on it.
