I just spent the last 30 mins trying to find a normal raid group on my 26 titan. and not a single 27-29 player would invite me even after i told them i have 2 level 30 characters and good guns.
Yet i come on these forums and see 29's crying because 30's wont play with them on hard raid. lol its so funny.
i am on xbox one so this post targets you 29 cry babies. The 29's on ps4, i can't comment because you can't do the raid with me even if i asked you too.
From now on every time i see a 29 cry about being left out. i will send them to this post.
I am not crying, I just wanted the 29's to open their eyes to see that they're doing the same thing the 30's do to them. Now they know how a 26 feels. i completed the raid with my friends already because i am a boss with no life.
EDIT: nice talking to everyone.... okay most of you anyways.... lol feel free to like my comment it gives me nothing but shows support :)
Edit2: sorry to the people who are nice and help. this post is not targeted at you, it only targets the losers. Thank you have a nice day.
EDIT3: my last edit has something wrong with the edit. i think i lost some brain cells reading some of these posts. but this is trending and i hope that everyone will soon end the fighting and open their eyes. i bring peace to war i will win a cookie.
EDIT4: i did a little cleaning to the post so i look less stupid.... even though i am sure the grammar teachers are having a panic attack right now lol.
EDIT5:everyone keeps saying level up... i shouldn't have to level up to meet your requirements. i have the skill to play normal raid without being carried. that is the point of this post. 29's telling 30's they have the skill to play hard raid so invite them they don't need that 1 level. well the same can be said for me being 26 wanting to do the normal raid and the 27-29 telling me i need another level or 2. what part of that do you not understand? geez i didn't know i had to spell it out for everyone i figured you guys were smart enough to figure it out using common sense guess thats where i made a mistake.
EDIT6: so many posts i am sorry if i don't reply to you. feel free to add me my gt is my bnet name. atm i have a temp ban because of some stupid crap i did so i can't talk or hear anyone or message anyone for a while. i admit i made some mistakes but i am not a bad person i just had a idgaf moment. i can still join games and run raid. i may not be able to talk or hear but i still have my eyes and i have the skill to play.
EDIT7: i no longer have a temp ban .. i think... i can message people again :)

Happened to me on ps4. I'd gotten my main warlock to level 30 and had max guns with plenty of raid runs (normal AND hard) Jump on with my 27 Titan and POST that it's my 2nd character, I have raid exp, I have max guns and all I would get is .......crickets...... Nobody wanted to help, and I was stuck not wanting to waste shards leveling up gear to 29 when I'd be scraping that gear as soon as I got raid gear. Fixed my problem by deleting alts and making 3 warlocks. Now I can always be 30. And man I get mad walking through the tower as a 30 and getting tons of invites. Hahah sure now everyone wants a raid person but heaven forbid if I was 26 or 27. Their loss. They are probably all stuck at Atheon ....or worse stuck at the 1st conflux ...

Edited by Swole‘ak-Hul, The Blind: 11/26/2014 12:15:13 PMIn case you don't know. you can get to 29 with no Raid Gear, so better level up
-
Hey Hey how can I be a hypocrite if I have never raided!!!!!!! :-p
-
Fact: Once your 30, most of the people do not want to endure, longer raid times. This is for almost everyone cept 'pro's'. They dont give a sht, have time and know it can be done with less. But for most of the destiny comunity it doesnt apply. Just wait for people to get more comfortable with the raid But ill be honest, ive got 3, 30s and i wouldnt be bringing in a 26 unless i personally knew em. Its just too much of a gamble and its not just your time. Your also wasting the time of 5 other players. Not saying a 26 cant do it, but not knowing the other person (even with multiple 30s) is too much of a gamble. Dont take it personally, just get that 1 extra level. Which only takes a few hours doing patrol. and even less with a fireteam doing patrol. :<

On ps4 I had no problem finding a group of randoms to go through with my 25 warlock. Although I did have maxed out raid weapons and super op self revive.
-
When i run with my two friends me and one of my friends try and get lvl 26-27 because there were many lvl 28-30s that helped us do the raid and teach us but the other friend doesn't want to invite 27-26 because i guess he thinks they are worse and do less damage.
-
Same I agree it's pretty similar. The only difference here is you have experience and the 26 typically doesn't. Neither do a lot of 29's on hard unless it's an alt w maxed weapons. I had a lot of trouble getting into hard raid as 29 and really the only way I got experience was rolling with groups of 6 29's and getting as far as we could which was usually atheon and just couldn't put enough damage down to kill him before we died. I didn't come posting on the forum about no one helping me. I got the check point and just kept posting and trying new groups who would take me. Some weeks I couldn't beat it. I kept trying. Persistence, a lot of time, and a little luck got me to 30. Any 29 can do it.

Grab an exotic helmet and stop being a burden…ermhh 26

If one of you're friends needs help, you should help. Unless you're doing something that you need done.
-
If you're on ps3 I'll run it with you, I'm 28
-
You do now that not everybody that plays the game is on this forum right?
-
I'll help your 26 if you help my 29. Spent 2hrs trying join a group doing hard raid last night. Couldn't get a group.

Edited by Yosh: 11/26/2014 12:13:21 PMLast time I did the VoG we took a lv26 in and won (no cheese) he did die alot but we got it done.
-
As a 30 I fully endorse this post. When i was on my lower level (before i got it to 30 with raid gear) I would have great difficulty in getting into raids at 26. Which is fine w/e I didn't bitch or cry, I can't expect to be carried. Now they cry because 30's won't take them and it's annoying to see, karmas a bitch ain't it.
-
30s have a reason to complain because the hard raid is level 30. The normal raid is only 26 (I think). I am aware that you need to do it as a 29 to get the helm. Signed level 28 Titan who only gets chatterwhite
-
Ehi guy.. It's not difficult be lvl 27-29.. Play and gain the possibility to be chosen GG
-
Edited by Destiny: 11/26/2014 10:32:08 AMits because 29 and 26 is a huge gap and 29 and 30 is just -blam!-ing luck
-
Every one of us? Oh, ok then. Idiot.
-
I only bring at least one 26 or 25 when I'm doing a normal raid with players. Most are commonly at 27+. But if I had a Xbone, I would of help you out either way.
-
Edited by Jtayls: 11/26/2014 10:53:18 AMCome raid with us. We bring 25s through all the time, regardless of experience. Apparently we think the Vault is our home and not Atheons, so we go there lots. 25 on normal raid isn't impossible just like 28 on hard isn't either. While running a raid with 6 25s might not be impossible, it's not ideal. Though running with only one, or even 2 with a higher level group, should be no more a burden that most think. Especially if you have 2 other 30s. Sounds like the players you found were trash, both as players and people.
-
This is slightly different though. Getting to Level 29 is nothing to do with luck, you can use vanguard/crucible marks to get your level up, being level 26 could indicate to the group that you are not very dedicated, don't know how to level up or just very inexperienced with the game. (I do realize you have 2 x lvl 30 characters on this occasion but I still can't see why you can't level the 26 up) Before someone mentions its a waste of ascendant mats, you will have a nearly unlimited supply whilst going for level 30, unless you win the lottery. 29-30 is pure luck, for instance, I just got my seventh pair of boots to go with my five pairs of gloves :)
-
The raid means nothing. It mocks me as it gives me endless supplies of helmets, gauntlets and chest pieces but never a single pair of boots. Curse you bungie, and curse you destiny!
-
I'm a level 25 titan on xbox one and haven't done the raid once, probably because of time more than anything. It's good to see fragments of the community still want to help their fellow player along regardless.
-
We generally have 6 going through the raid, but on the occasions we don't, wouldnt bother us one bit taking a 26 through. 4 of the team recently became lvl 30, 1 got final bit of raid gear last night so is just xp from 30 and the other is one piece short of 30. We can easily 5 man normal so taking a 26 wouldnt be an issue and I cant for the life of me understand why any semi experienced group of 29s would have a problem.
-
Its because you play with an Xbox one Ugh!.
-
That sucks mate I was in a group yesterday with 29's and a 26 and 27. I guess it's not just the 30's it's everyone wanting it to be easy. I like a challenge or the game gets boring so I don't mind taking 26+. I once took a lvl24 in for fun :-)
