Presumably hundreds of thousands of women have played or continue to play Destiny. Possibly millions. Whatever the total number of Destiny players is, a large minority of them will be women. Multiple reliable studies and survey's over the last 5 years have shown that more and more women are playing games like Destiny, and the percentage of female players is much higher than you might think. Probably a sizable percentage of the people you've played with are women. I see people here asking why more women don't use voice chat, identify themselves as women or post here on the forum, but I would think the answer should be pretty obvious. This community and player base is pretty hostile, toxic and generally awful.
