  • Way to be late for the party hahahaha this has been posted hundreds of times it's all speculation. The DLC looks sweet, and for 20 bucks it's a steal. I'll be buying it, -blam!-ing judge me.

  • A solid bump! Regardless if its old it is spot on and people should care. Mediocrity and trying to make everyone equal is killing every industry. If you forget and get blinded by the next bright shinning object this type of behavior wont stop.

  • *sigh* OP muted for being boring and unoriginal. Also repetitive and for flooding the Forums with very old news.

  • I think this is my favourite rant EVER not for his rant but because he makes me want to rant. 1. The E3 videos were demos - the one where the guy and the female hunter go through what I basically call the first mission. They probably just developed those parts as they are so you can see it and how it works. 2. They say you can go here and there and to that mountain. They never said when. They said eventually. I bet with each expansion more of the world map opens but seriously if k can go across what will be the entirety of Russia or earth for that matter...it just won't stop downloading and it may take a week or longer, not to mention the servers wouldn't handle that. So I say - let the game grow, I am sure it will. 3 the reef. This is one of his favourites to rant about. Yeah there's a picture of it and the guy looks like he's moving - concept art? I believe there was footage of it moving too- doesn't mean it's ready, it just means they got a few seconds of game play running so you can see it...a basic demo. 4. Other planets - let the game grow guys. You can't have it all and if you did, I could see the game costing way more than $70-60. It's coming. 5 my favourite: SATURN!!! OMG batman shut up about Saturn. It's a picture!!!! It's concept art, really freaking pretty concept art! I can take photoshop make a pretty picture, load up a new program and make it do a panning flyby! Oh look Saturn! It's coming stop getting over excited about it. 6 Mercury. I have been there....in rumble. Therefore the concept exists! It's there, play rumble and enjoy (personally I hate rumble but it's a great map for it). Those of you who only play control, try the other modes there are more maps, check it out. Guys if you haven't already, look up the new video on the development of he DLC that's coming out in a week or so. It's actually pretty amazing in my eyes, it will add to the game and let bungie put the game together. I just want to point out that I mostly ignored the hype this way I played the game without any prior preconceptions. I think the game is great, I have fun playing it and more fun playing with my friends. It's like watching movie adds. Sometimes they put all the good parts into the add and when you finally go see the movie, you find it's ruined a bit because you saw most of the movie in the few scenes you saw. I don't take batman seriously, that's his opinion and honestly he's not giving you any new proof!

Wow that kid talks a lot. Also he's seems like a total moron. Amazing how he can go on and on about nothing. He even admits he's totally making it all up. 100% speculation not once but several times through out this garbage video. If I never hear his voice again it will be to soon. I'm defiantly buying all the expansions if only just to spite this nitwit. Well that and I think this game is great. I don't agree with a single bit of this kids random blathering.

    • OKAY! I SAW THE FIRST 10 MINUTES! Aside from the fact that people have been talking about this since, like, day 1. It's silly. He's making massive cynical assumptions based on little concrete data. Bungie already explained why there's some untapped locations in the game. They said downloading on local internet connections can be problematic for a lot of people here and all over the world. Storage space may also become an issue. So they shipped part of future content in the game to help limit the penalties, but they're not finished experiences. The new DLC, was literally created after the game shipped, and they've said before, they intend to see how players react to the game so they can figure out how they should go about things the next time around. They even said it in the recent "Darkness Below" Vidoc. As for not seeing what was in the E3 trailers, that happens all the time. it even happens in films. The marketing team just uses clips from what's currently in progress to make something exciting to look at. This is especially true for games at E3 because they're usually just giving you an update to what they've got cooking, but that doesn't mean it's what they're going to ultimately ship out. Plus, how's it false advertising? Small references made to certain planets, a vague story script, and a developer mentioning the word "trade" doesn't mean they were promising this will all be there. They were promising an open-world shared-shooter experience. Exploration, a social game, a place for adventure with friends. That was what they marketed on. They weren't going "You will play on Mercury! Mercury will be in the game! I promise! One thing we've really put work into was making Mercury! Also, Old Chicago! It's a thing that we're doing!". It's like when you see a clip or line from a movie in a trailer that didn't end up in the finished product. Are you going to blame corporate greed? Also, trading. Nah. They can easily referring to the trading of strange coins, and motes of light. That's how the economy works. Some people require normal money (glimmer), some require achievement (marks) and others require special rare items (strange coins/ motes of light). Xur has been referred to as an exotic TRADER. He can criticize how he feels the RNG should work, I'd argue it's set up that way so players would have to really work hard to get things. You can only buy legendary gear if you earn marks/ reputation, or get it by chance after doing a lot of work in the raid, vanguard, or crucible. But that's simply a criticism, and his opinion of how things should work. They guy said himself, for a $60 game, it's pretty decent. You can say you wanted more, or thought this or that was poorly done. But Bungie has given us about as much content as you'd expect from a game. This is a genre they're not used to, and issues of clunkiness or needed polishing happens to almost every big MMO upon release. Bungie has said they want to continue to craft the game upon feedback and they've been known for having a close relationship with their fans, and have given great ways to let them know what you want. And while there are many things a lot of people have been asking for that they have yet to get to, they have been listening, have acknowledged a lot of our requests, and have made a lot of implementations. But it's only been three months, and they only have so many people to work on these things. So instead of jumping on the cynical "everyone is savagely greedy and incompetent except for me" wagon, and refusing to buy their DLC until they release content, that probably doesn't exist and wasn't even promised or marketed on, like some psuedo-revolutionary... How about you just contribute to the flow of feedback!? Instead of just sitting in your make-shift bunker shooting spit balls at everyone, like some paranoid conspiracy theorist, be the consumer who actually does something constructive and explains to the company why they're unsatisfied in certain areas of the product and what you would like to see? Personally, I love this game. Even the people who are criticizing it are still playing it addictively. I don't feel ripped off, I actually feel like it's like Borderlands except there's more to do after the game than a new game plus and the farming of random enemies. There's a competitive multiplayer, strikes, difficulty modifiers, a raid, daily/ weekly/ monthly challenges, live events, public events, bounties, exotic bounties, new content every few levels, etc. After level 20, you essentially start a new game, the leveling system actually requires you to challenge yourself and play activities in order to gain the reputation, marks, special materials, and items needed to level up. You can criticize certain aspects, and have your own opinions, but I think the system is brilliant, and I don't see how someone can really see this and say it's not a full $60 game. Even if you hate it, it definitely isn't missing content compared to similar titles.

    • I've watched it. Several times. This is old news. I'm honestly very conflicted. I do not support activision's DLC practices and I personally don't think destiny deserves more money for basically is going to be another repititive gribd fest... But this game has potential and I want to see where it goes. I want this game to do well... But I can't support such greedy practices.
