This is the stupidest most retarded debate ever! You grind like crazy either way. There is nothing wrong with providing a path to level cap for PvP players. Wow its really baffling the level of entitlement some people show around here. Got to level 30? Good You had to grind for it end of story. (Before any of you check you can't even call me a hypocrite I'm level 29 and did not even bother to reach level 2 on IB and I do the raid on normal with friends occasionally) It does not affect anyone how people reach level cap nor lessens your experience with the game.

63 RepliesThe issue is that there are elitist 30's, who simply got lucky to get where they are. Half of the people making this argument are using an exotic helm as they can not beat the raid on hard. I have beaten the raid 11 times, 8 of those on hard. Still no raid boots for me. So I went into the iron banner and fought and earned my boots. Being married with a kid is the hardest modifier as there is nothing that will get you killed more than the wife asking you to 'pause the game and come here'. IT DOESN'T PAUSE I'M DOING THE NIGHTFALL/ATHEONS TELEPORTED ME WOMAN.

Any douchebag can be in a group that shoves a boss off a ledge, and any asshole can afk through a crucible match and be carried for a win. Shut up and just play the game how you want to play.

It's pretty ridiculous that these forums just have repeat thread after repeat thread. "Why does everyone like (insert gun)?" "Actually (class) takes the most skill" "Nerf (something)!" "Buff (something)!" Those things on there own are fine but when there are just hundreds of the same one over and over it gets tiring. Like those people don't actually read the forums for the information they want they just post.

14 RepliesThat's funny, this happened to me earlier. I just got my IB gear to 30 and wanted to help with some Hard Modes. My buddy and I, who usually sherpa groups through VoG HM with our group decide to post about helping. We get recruited and the raid leader checks me out. "Dude, you're a shit 30, I don't want you here." His group starts arguing about how long it's taken to bring this group together, all want me there except him. While he's defending his argument I change my gear to full raid 30 and ask if this is good enough for him. He gets quiet. I switch back to my IB cause wolves are so cash and it easily looks better than raid gear. I wish them luck and my buddy and I leave cause seriously, you're gonna piss on someone cause their 30 isn't to your liking? A few minutes later one of the individuals from the group messages me and apologizes for the leader, says the whole group wants to know if my buddy and I are willing to give it a shot. I say sure, cause I love VoG and I love helping, only condition is elitist over there can't come. They all agree, I bring another of my buddies and bam, successful HM with an IB 30 (and post patch flawless raider VoG 30, by the way), me, leading the charge. Moral of the story, [b]Wolves are sooooooo cash.[/b]

Either way, a 30 is a 30. Who cares how people get the guns or armor or become level 30 or anything?! If somebody complains about others getting something in this game different than they do then that sadly is an extremely childish viewpoint. Focus on you and how to better your own skills in this game and how you are going to get the loot and level it up. Stop comparing. You're only holding yourselves back by doing so. Just my opinion. The OP is right. Every week it's the same complaints about different things (Xur, lvl 30s, rng) and it's getting old.

16 RepliesIb 30s arent of any help in the raid with real 30s. Ive ran into to many that have never done hard mode before Thats why we dont like some lvl30s. Others have just gotten crapped ob mmby rng and i feel for them 30 is 30 but dont be useless in raids where this game truly shines

Its just a push so more people can play the DLC Raid when it launches. I've done the raid multiple times and never gotten 1 single raid gear or raid weapon. On my most recent run, I played with a guy who had never done it, and he got 1 piece of raid gear. It's more luck than earning. I grinded in the raid AND in the IB, and the IB was a definite reward. I'm tired of RNG -blam!-ing with people. So I earned my level 30 gear just as much as you did.

This may have been said but I will say it again if so.... There are no fake 30's in my opinion. A 30 is a 30. Period. Not everyone can get to 30 just from the raid. I have needed gauntlets for ALL THREE characters and have yet to see them in the raid (and I raid with every character every week and on hard). I got my Hunter to 30 from the IB, which is not terribly easy for those who do not like the Crucible (like me). Are 30's with help from Xur fake too? Whatever you use in this game to advance your character is your prerogative. To hell with the haters.

Yeah, I just play the game and not worry about the little stuff. It doesn't matter to me how you got your armour or weapon, every way is as legitimate as the next because you can only get the result by playing the game in one form or another. None of those are better or more legitimate than another, in my opinion. For me, Xûr = Nightfall = RNG = Crucible = Iron Banner = etc, etc. Not even worth worrying about.
