Are Hunters useless in Hard Raid?
So I tried my first hard raid today with a group of friends that are solid players, but we didn't even get past Templars and after a while people had to leave because it was getting late so we put it off until tomorrow
During the raid I noticed how useless my Hunter abilities that I usually use so well during any other type of gameplay such as cloak.
I found myself never using my blade dancer because I wouldn't want to get that close to the enemy because I knew I would get wrecked. So besides just killing vex with my weapons and surviving I felt relatively useless compared to a Defender Titan or other player types.
We'll be doing the raid tomorrow again and I would like to know what my fellow Hunters use to their advantage during the hard raid.

It really helps.
I'd also like to say that I never meant to use the word useless in its literal meaning I love my hunter and it's really all I use I just wanted some advice.
I'll definitely be switching to gun slinger and will work on maxing guns I know those are big issues.

Golden Gun out, 3 sacrifices averted, final shot into the Minotaur to take his shield off. Just enough time to stick him with tripmine as he starts to sacrifice. Final few shots and he's down as well. Shit like that is why we're useful. A Titan could've FoH'd them but it requires getting close and if the Minotaur was too far, game over. Nova bomb might also do the job to be fair, but again, if thing are too spread out it doesn't work. We're also hands down the best at dealing with Supplicants on Atheon hard. EDIT: Save one round of GG for teleport. First 4 oracles are down. Like dude, I've got this. Go get a drink or have a bath, it's fine.
