I found that room, before, but I haven't found anything special appear there (at least on normal). There is an easier way to get to it as well. Instead of going all the way around like you did, you can jump toward the entrance side and climb up, there is a little corridor between the high part of the structure and the wall and it will then just be a strait drop down. You can also jump up from that little corridor and land on top of the structure and get a bird's eye view of most of the map.

There actually is something more interesting that you can get to if you already know how to find there. If you go from where you started the video from, instead of looping around there is a section you can jump up to right there. Its really easy to do with the titan and warlock, but more tricky with the hunter. and it drops down to these rocks you can stand on. There is a cliff that you can jump to, but you fall right through it. Its neat, because if you could jump on those rocks, it loops around and actually gets pretty close to the crack in the vault. There is also an antenna or something there that you can stand on and drop behind, even though you fall for a while before you die, there doesn't seem to be anything there.
