Only doing iron banner for the armor
Be honest how many people are only playing the iron banner for the level 30 armor?

Did it for the armor bc it looked better than raid gear

I am, got rank 4 on my titan and bought the hands and just hit rank 3 on my warlock and will go for rank 4 on that as well. Can only take so much of doing the raid on 2 characters each week and not getting that one piece of raid gear you need.

got to iron banner rank 5. only the arm piece will help me level up so I bought it and im still 3 light away from 30. got awarded with the hammer, hand cannon and the ship. also was turning in bounty's and it gave me the thorn bounty. not sure if I want to keep playing.

I'm not a massive PvP fan, but if I do play it I play control. I'm just hoping I can get to l4 by Monday to get the arm pieces to get me to 30! L29.5 so far...

I been playing because I enjoy the unbalanced effect. It's clear that I have a edge over 25 and unders. If they aren't on their toes I run right through them. That's how it should be

I am too. Got my gloves for my warlock, now just need an exotic helmet. For my titan, currently on level 2. Need to get both the boots and gloves for him. Will be tough to get there by Monday.

Me And I don't think I'll be coming back. The lag is pretty nasty in some games. It's crazy it takes forever to get into a game and then when I do it feels like the team members are spread all round the world. The matchmaking is screwed

1 ReplyNot going to happen! Hate Crucible with a passion. I don't always suck at it and typically get a 1.0 KD rating, but just not a huge fan of the multiplayer experience. Would much rather do bounties and missions with friends than the crucible. Besides, it would take me forever to get the iron banner to rank 4 in order to buy the raid gauntlets. The way my luck has been running with other things I've saved up for, i'd get just shy of rank 4 on iron banner and i'd get the damn raid gauntlets through running a raid anyway. Though this idea of getting raid gear through iron banner is interesting. SO many more ppl are saying that they'd only run raid with other lvl 30s once the expansion comes out and wont run it now unless there are more 30's in the fireteam. What did everyone do before they hit lvl 30? I'm pretty sure they didn't bitch about not having more lvl 30s in the room and just got on with it. Sure it'll take 5 mins more to complete it on hard, but who the hell cares? Have some fun since that's all it is anyway. You can be lvl 30 and crap at the raid; be the kind of person to sit at the back of the room sniping all day long getting 20 kills a raid and frequently dying. Or you can be the lvl 29 guy who kills just as many enemies as everyone else and barely dies but just isn't lucky with the drops. That's me and i'd rather run a raid with similar ppl than get the lvl 30s who complain constantly cause they can't do the raid properly themselves and ranked up quickly cause they like crucible and iron banner. Just my two cents; but there are SO many ways of getting things nowadays that it really makes no difference at all. Just don't kick me out of your fireteam for only being lvl 29.5 cause I refused to do iron banner to achieve lvl 30 and preferred to try it "the way bungie had intended it to be run".

My hands up for this one, but I'm actually starting to like playing Crucible... I forgot how fun PVP was. Once I get the gloves I'll take a break because damn...I'm tired as shit from all this compressed time grinding
