Be honest how many people are only playing the iron banner for the level 30 armor?

Edited by Malevolent Fish: 11/20/2014 10:33:24 PMLike last time, I'm only doing it for the ship... which hasn't dropped for me yet. In the process, though, I did get to 30 (the raid has never, ever dropped the gloves for me in countless runs, had to turn to Saladin for my final piece), and finally got a legendary Void fusion rifle by reforging a Perun's Fire I bought when I hit rank 4. ...and I now have the shiniest coat in the whole city thanks to Goldspiral.

Everything in Saladin's inventory

Edited by Dabsta: 11/20/2014 10:30:11 PMMe! But I've gotten the Truth, and Jolder's Hammer in the process, so... yeah :) I wouldn't have put in nearly as much time if it wasn't for the gear.

Yeppers.

Same here, only for the armor.I'm not a big fan of PvP but find Iron Banner more enjoyable than Crucible
-
I already have 30s Just doing it for fun, the new weapons and gear, I like to have variety
-
Why else would we run it?

I got gauntlets for my Titan, today and now I'm working on boots for my Hunter. After that, I'm done. I wanted the chest piece and helmet for my Warlock, but now that I know we can't get them.... Well, let's just say my weekend just opened back up. :-/
-
i'm only doing it because my friends wanted to and i had nothing better to do. i don't want anything from saladin
-
It's the only reason I am doing it. Reached level 4 with my warlock, bought my boots and gauntlets and immediately switched to my hunter and started the grind again so I can get the boots and gauntlets for that character.

Is there any other reason? It's not like there are new maps solely for IB. It's basically an even more unbalanced version of Control with the opportunity to get gear with hideous wolf markings. I guess the shaders are worth the trouble too.
