Here's a Good Idea For Destiny's Loot System To Be Complete

So first off, before you read, this is not supposed to fix the loot system in Destiny. I'm fine with the system we have we have (a few drop rate tweakings here and there would be fantastic though) This proposition is to add something to make exotics more "exotic". So without further ado, let's get started! *(TL:DR skip to the bottom for the overview)* I had this idea for exotic engrams to be implemented in the game to be dropped. It's not just another engram with a slightly lower drop rate than legendaries. Here's what would happen... We all know about the argument between "earning" an exotic and "xurning" and exotic. Earning being obtaining it through RNG's sake and Xurning being obtaining it from Xur. One of these days, Xur will become irrelevant. It's going to happen. To make exotics become more exotic will involve more than just hoping to get one from a legendary engram. My proposal is to give bosses from both story missions, strikes, and raids a chance to drop an exotic engram. The chance for one, of course, will be extremely small. This could even introduce a wider variety of upgrade materials to be obtained. TL:DR: Exotic can have a chance to drop from bosses in-game instead of just having to buy an engram from Xur. Thoughts? :)
