Hey guys. With the new update of 2.1gb we all expected things to be fixed....
Apparently our expectations were too high.
Here's a video complied of clips with commentary of our run at the VOG on hard today. We have NEVER experienced anything like this before ( though I'm sure some of you have ). It's time we make sure destiny is fixed! Share this clip around so bungie can legitimately see the issues at hand. Though, making spinmetal and helium and spirit bloom look cooler was def important!
Edit: We went back to orbit 4 times and tried promoting others to leader... Nothing changed

I ran the VoG yesterday & my team mate went thru the Venus portal & ended up on Mars. Anyone else have this occurrence?

Scaling seems messed up in vog hard mode. It took 3 direct hits, from gallajhorn to kill a gatekeeper room praetorian. Tryed the next round and it took 82 rounds from corrective measure. (Both maxed and wielded by 30's) I know they changed it for NF maybe its an accidental side effect?

Bro don't blame Bungie for your lag. Someone in your group had a terrible connection; it's obvious throughout the video. Let's start the movement that encourages people to understand what's going on instead of blaming Bungie for your own problem.

The sprite built itself last time I went in! Not a single enemy to oppose us! We got to the templar an like 3 minutes. It balanced out with portal glitches though :/

Was there ever an announcement by Bungie saying that 1.0.3 was going to attempt to fix any VoG bugs? I was under the impression that the update was intended to make room/pave the way for future updates and the DLC. I agree, the bugs for VoG should have been fixed BEFORE we got updates to patrol mission icons, material images, and even voice chat. However, after reading the update notes prior to 1.0.3 dropping, I didn't anticipate any fixes to the VoG as they didn't say these were part of the update. VoG should be fixed BEFORE another raid is added though...I cannot see that they are going to have time to fix VoG after adding more content that will need to be bug fixed as well.

The first clip you tried to melee through the portal. That doesn't work. It closed because it sensed the relic passing through the portal (even though you didn't get teleported). Second time was because first relic holder went through at the same time. Everything else is due to bad connection to servers (relic shield spawning late, enemies regening health, not getting teleported...). That stuff isn't fixed with a game update, it has to be fixed by improving people's connections (or getting dedicated servers rather than player-to-player being held in game).

Didn't expect anything to be fixed because they said it was not a patch just a update for ib and add in some stuff to get rdy for the dlc so no was not expecting anything really

We did it on normal yesterday, Atheon took us three attempts and only because the first time noone got teleported at all (we all stayed in the room with Atheon all confused) and the second time the relic bubble didn't charge for some reason, we all got to the middle and it wouldn't work! So many bugs :(

The hard raid is broken !! Glad the word is finally out, because I've been wasting time with my clan for awhile and we have been getting sick and tired of all the bugs and glitches that cause wipes [b]and the complete lack of information about it from Bungie. They have yet to admit this stuff is happening. [/b]

The glitches appear to be random, we have run it 3 times this week, the first two were glitchy as hell on Atheon but tonights was flawless. It might be a good idea to check each players connection quality on the roster screen if some have a poor connection to the server it can throw up problems. I checked our connections during the raid tonight and we were all in the green, maybe thats why it was glitch free this time.

I've done the raid quite a few times as well, but never experienced anything that severe. Maybe the portal not teleporting us, but thats about it.

Got to Atheon on hard mode for the first time last night and the glitches are insane compared to on normal. Two people getting teleported, teleported with detainment shield, getting damaged during times vengeance even with relic shield up, heavy ammo synthesis not replenishing to max capacity, enemies replenishing health, etc. I agree with everyone that says this should be the highest priority for Bungie to fix. It is there highlight event in the game, the least they should do is ensure it works as intended with fixes happening asap for known glitches.

It's sometimes the Destiny server that is lagging instead of the players from what I noticed.

I did a public event earlier where I couldn't kill the Minotaur no matter what I did and for some reason the goblins all ignored us. It was the sacrifice one on Venus and it was like we were invisible to them. Needless to say they just kept sacrificing.

Same for my team last night tried dif host made it all the way to gatekepper then it got real bad so we just gave up

My group did vog last night and 75% of the raid was in slow motion. Tried switching hosts and everything.

I had a supplicant that I beat down like 7 times and his health bar filled back up after it should have died. Finally when the portal team came out I said f*ck it and ran to the back and it look like it had despawned but then after Times Vengeance the party wiped to 7 magic supplicants that I had apparently spawned by simply trying to kill the same guy over and over again...

Just watched this. Sorry you experienced glitches that crappy. Question though, at the end of the vid the relic holder was shooting balls of light at Atheon. Wtf is that?!

This is the raid that nneevvverrrr eends the goblins keep respwning my friends! ..bungie, tried to fix it not knowing what it was... but said -blam!- it leave all the bugs just because it is the raid that never ends....
