Exotic Weapon Nerfs?

If you are detecting a nerf to your exotic weapons, the change is unintentional. Please report all issues in this thread. Thank you, and sorry for the frustration this will cause.

  • Hey I've noticed nerfs to all auto rifles, fusion rifles and hand cannons in PvE! Is bungie gonna fix all these problems? PvP and PvE needs to be seperated! I appreciate the shotgun buff, but all it is is a shotgun now! Should have BEEN buffed! And the pulse rifles are still garbage in PvE! Try to use red death to kill anything! I know now why you guys called it red death; because if you try to use it the screen will go red before your death! Didn't know bungie was a bunch of trolls behind doors!

  • The auto rifles need to be put back to before the patch. I know bungie wants people to use all the guns...but now the auto rifles just down right suck. All that needed a patch was the buff to the pulse rifles in this last patch. The auto rifles were fine where they were.

          • Why don't you test these things before you launch the updates. Nerfing auto rifles in pve did nothing but make everyone unhappy. Buffing pulse rifles was awesome so at least there is that.

            The accuracy on thorn went down a lot more than I thought it would. I was playing VoG a few days ago and I should've been landing critical hits on goblins that were coming out of the left door, but for some reason weren't landing. Now I know I miss shot some but some should've been critical shots and weren't for some reason. I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing this so can someone please tell me if you also experience this? This accuracy also goes for my hand cannons in general

            • I think that the auto rifles are pretty much what u need to fix. They're not as useful as they use to be since one of these recent updates and it's causing a very huge shift in PvP. Just trying to give some feedback if anyone is wondering, that's all

              All the Exotic weapons where effected by the patch. Suros is now useless against other weapon types. Same with Hardlight. The Vex's range and accuracy are horrible. Were the exotics not supposed to be effected?

                The damage nerf to auto rifles introduced in 1.1.1 was WAY more than advertised in the patch notes. High ROF weapons such as atheons epilogue took just shy of a 7% nerf at point blank range and low ROF weapons such as suros took about a 14% nerf at point blank range. This has effectively unbalanced autos against other weapon types in both PVE and PVP. Please adjust the nerf on these so that low ROF weapons like the suros have an effective nerf around 5% compared to pre 1.1.1 values, and atheons epilogue should have a 1% effective nerf compared to pre 1.1.1 values. You community would appreciate you fixing this oversight, which would make autos useful for PVE and remain balanced for PVP.

                • Wow, back from the dead this ancient thread is. Ok, I'll play. I noticed a significant unwanted drop in all of my auto rifles in PvE. Seems all my hand cannons lost damage at range, which was also unwanted by everyone on the PvE side. Funny my shotguns and pulse rifles seem to work now, but fùck if I'll use either one of them to be another notch on one of your bullshit charts. Good day community punching bag.
