okay just because you mentioned the mythoclast, please remember there is no end screen for VoG. Secondly, all these people bitching can be referred to all your other mission stats that do show such as k/d, number of revives, kills, etc. There is already a mag 12 toxic shitxtorm anytime any decent weapon drops. I did hard raid with a guy who died almost immediately on confluxes, he got hawkmoon =_= You can bet we were all pissed but it happens. In short this is all just to point out that just because people will incessantly bitch (they already do) is not a good reason why I shouldn't be able to see how much damage I did. Especially since this could seriously help me decide with guns are most effective so I can do better on the next run.

You can already see which guns do more damage based on the little values that pop up anytime you hit something. If you've been paying any attention, you don't need stat tracking to tell you which gun is more effective. You should know that just by using different guns and making observations. Each weapon has its own stat card for reference that should be equally helpful in making an informed decision on which to use. The argument that its a tool for [i]you[/i] to use to determine how [i]you [/i]should play is invalid. The vault doesn't have an end screen, no. But it does tell everyone in the in-game messages near the lower left corner what you get. The text is even color coded. No one is going to miss bright yellow lettering saying you got the Mythoclast. I would assume that if these stats were to be placed anywhere, they would most likely be placed on an end screen, which would mean Bungie would have to fix it so the vault had one. If they did, it would probably display your endgame rewards along with the stats for the session. Logically, people would see you got the MC and look at your damage ratio on the boss and lose their $hit. Alternatively, though more likely, the stats would appear somewhere on the web. In that case, no one would see them unless they went digging for them, and this whole argument is a moot point anyway. Your argument that there is no end screen is irrelevant. And stating the obvious, generally repeating what I've already stated about the community being toxic, doesn't detract from my statement that such a feature is useless beyond creating more butthurt.

Seeing total damage values so that I can better determine if my icebreaker, hezen vengeance, or super good advice can deal more damage in the allotted time would be beneficial. And yes I know everyone gets an alert when MC drops, but my point stays valid on this one point that without an endscreen it doesn't matter if the total damage values show or not. You can pull all the data from cards, and stats and reports you want all day long. But its still all theoretical data, you have to make approximations for best and worst case scenarios. my HMG does X damage times X rounds at X fire rate, factor in the stability for body/head shot ratio and it should be this, whereas my sniper does x times x at x. But these will always be approximations! Actual battle data however is more reliable because -gasp- its what actually happened! 5) And this is my personal favorite because of the sheer hypocrisy of it, once again to quote you "Good for you.
