Best advice is to get used to it. Ever since the patch early on in the game the cryptarch has a chance to give purples but it is not guaranteed. Even if you reach a high level it still is the same odds.

So stupid like. Bungie will have to sort it out again. So much for the previous patch to the engrams.

It had to be done. I would be leveling up my cryptarch 3 times a day which would equal at least 3 legendary engrams. Bungie probably noticed players could do this making a guarantee way to farm legendary engrams. They have made a couple patches to lower legendary drop rates.

Yea i had noticed the drop rate was significantly lower. I started a new character and now my hunter is level 24 and i still havent came across any legendary engrams at all :/
