If you compare dps, clipsize and reload does matter aswell. So how can tlw still be on top with 8 bullets compared to 13 of others? To be more clear reload times are dps killer, and with a 8 round clip your dps wont be that amazing.

DPS is not the end all be all of damage. Only people with a rudimentary understanding of gaming mechanics think DPS means everything. For example, if the enemy will stand in one place and not move and you can land 100% of shots - yes, DPS matters. But that's more of a situation for MMO raids and big boss battle types of situations. For a PVP scenario, TTK (Time to Kill) is better analyzed for effectiveness. Personally, I prefer to drop opponents quickly and not worry about sustained damage (or DPS)

  • I prefer to have enough bullets in my clip to drop at least 4-5 people without reloading, TLW has barely enough to kill 2 unless you can consistently do double tap headships with it from the hip.

  • its not on top, its a close quarter gun, you need different guns for different situations
