The title...
Only kids spend hours a day to look for mates in forums and adding to PSN and organizing groups... i am a father, husband, and want to enter the game at night and play. Just it.

Try joining a clan with members that have similar hours to you... perhaps dads of destiny would be a good one as it has other fathers who play the game. While matchmaking wouldnt hurt many people it wouldnt help that many either. We have already seen how bad playing with randoms can be from vanguard strikes

Although I am completely with you 100000% I just barely tried it for the first time out of sheer luck of time and place. I can completely understand why they don't. The raid, although a gosh dang blast to actually play, most definitely holds the most valuable of rewards. And I think there ISNT a matchmaking yet because of the trend seeming to go around where people have been joining strikes then purposely dying or running in circles so they don't have to actually do work. The raid is near uncompletable without a full party working together. Of course there have been exceptions but even those exceptions were... well.. under exceptional circumstances. Trust me. I too hope there will be matchmaking. But at the same time I really hope that if there is, we get a way to kick people through vote too. Like in WoW perfect example of how to organize matchmaking for complex activities

Well said, This game could have been great. the lack of matchmaking made me go back to Diablo in the 3rd week, but i come here always to see if they added... when they add matchmaking, i come back to destiny.

I am with you on this. So are many more. They just added a #recruitment to the forums. That's after Deej asked if it would help. 90% of the replies said no. They asked for it in the game, where it belongs. Bungie does not care, they do what they want. This game could have been great.
