Hawkmoon Stats Maxed Out as level 30 against level 28 enemies:
Normal Crit = 1655
Bonus Damage Crit = 2207 - 2944
Body Shot: 552
Bonus Damage Body Shot = 752
13 Bullets Per Clip
Total Maximum Damage per clip on a crit = 25382
Total Maximum Damage per clip without crit = 7776
With this all being said I have persanally used Hawkmoon for a little over a month and I have seen it do nearly 7000 damage on a crit to Atheon.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but various types of enemies have varied types of damage reduction. AKA a 28th dreg takes more damage from a precision hit than a 28th level captain. Am I incorrect in this? I've noticed the same with normal goblin vs hobgoblin.

I will test the theory, but I know a level 28 dreg and level 28 goblin take the same damage. The only thing I could think to make a captain take less damage is the shield, but once their shield is down it might be the same. I'll run a test soon and find out.

Thanks. I've been messing with damage at various ranges against varied enemy types and my results are mostly inconclusive. What I do know is elite forces (yellow bar) take less damage (without shields being considered) than normal troops (red bar) from same weapon type from same range.

cabal legionarys and phalanxes have a slight damage resistance it seems, a level 28 legionary will take slightly less damage from all sources than a level 28 goblin/vandal/acolyte

Thanks for that info. I wish Bungie would just post stats for stuff and how the damage in this game works. Impact/Range/Attack score all play a role...but how much? And what's the math?
