Anyone think that The Chance should have a higher rof or a bit more impact? It was my first legendary and the six shots make it useless in comparison to LHF and TDYK. LHF is next for me but I can't stand the way it looks. The chance looks amazing but needs like 8 shots or more impact or something like I said before. Once you are used to hand cannons. Stability doesn't matter as much anymore

  • I have the chance from a NF drop and it wasnt a good version. Awful stats and a slower reload than the vendor version. My Thorn in comparison was much better.

Stability doesn't matter as much anymore[/quote] I actually didn't initially think that I'd like the upgrades that The Chance had, especially with Hand Cannons like TDYK and LHF out there, and also bought it solely for its looks. Surprisingly, it turned out to be better than I thought it's be, but of course, other Hand Cannons might still be better. I noticed that The Chance's high Stability (which is an unusual stat for Hand Cannons) helped me land those headshots more consistently, and Spray and Play is useful since it has a six-round magazine. But if the LHF or TDYK looked just like The Chance, I'd get them instead. At least I'm used to Hand Cannons with small magazine sizes, since I was mostly using Thorn on my Warlock before getting The Chance on my Hunter.

  • Thanks for the clarification. I actually knew that though and it's awesome. For instance I have te vanguard rocket launcher "unfriendly giant," that I got from an engram. It has arc damage instead if solar and also has target tracking rounds. Also have the vanguard scout and instead of firefly have third eye and luck in the chamber

  • I used the chance exclusively for a few weeks because of two perks on the purchased model: Grenadier and Spray and play. Spray and play makes the reload insanely fast and is a ridiculous perk for HC's, especially when coupled with hand cannon reload arms or some abilities.

  • That is true. I too used it for everything for about a month. Cleared the vault with it. I guess you're right. The reload is fast and grebades are cool. I guess I just wish it had something else to it

  • Yea. 8 shots would be cool but maybe OP with spray and play, HC's only caveats are low zoom and long reload. Would be nice to see more HC with Grenadier though as it is a great perk with some cool synergies.
