Perhaps the elemental change could be done using the pocket infinity bounty mechanic. For example you buy an elemental change bounty from the gunsmith - then have to disassemble x number of the required element damage weapons to charge your new power cell? Make it more challenging and would give us something to do with all those level 16-19 rare weapons from our "friend" Rahool!
